You can see they have ran away. One thing you can take away from them is gaslighting and bareface lies.

Once you confront them with fact they switch to insult while they run for cover

Blindsided trash talks as always, just for maniacal hatred of Tinubu.

What a waste it would be if you continue doing this for the next 6 years, when your assumed enemy will leave his presidential post.
What gives you the impression that he will leave Aso Rock in 2031, instead of getting a third term for life president, as Cameroonians have in Biya?

Do you think that he has not stolen more than Obasanjo, who tried and failed to get a third term with Ghana must go bags of bribes to 469 NASS members? Thankfully, Atiku led other democracy heroes to stop Obasanjo in 2007. Thankfully so.

By the way, since you think that I hate your idol because of the truthful things I say about him, I guess you love him. Why do you love him huh

What is the point of two impotent tribesmen bragging about having the biggest tool of uselessness huh

edet19892015:
Unless you understand your role in society, you can never make any meaningful contribution.

According to the Greeks, they are three types of people on Earth,
1. The idiots,
2. The tribesmen, and
3. The citizens.

Studies show only 10% of Africans are citizens.
The remaining 90% are either tribesmen or idiots.

1. When the Greeks used the word "Idiot", they did not use it as a curse word.
Idiots are people who just don’t care.
If they sit for exams, they will cheat.
If they are in government they will steal.

An idiot does not care at all, if he eats bananas he throws the peels anywhere instead of putting them in a trash bin.

IDIOTS won't attend monthly neighborhood meetings. They won't pay security dues. They won't contribute to community development. Even when they see or know about something that will harm others in the community they won't report it. When they see/know/have something that will benefit their community they won't share.

In fact, Idiots don't care to register for or vote in an election, yet they complain the most. If they register to vote, IDIOTS will sell their votes for peanuts.

According to the Greeks, some societies have more idiots than tribesmen and citizens.

2. The next set of people are "Tribesmen", these are people that look at everything from the point of view of their tribe.

These are people that believe in you only if you are part of their tribe.
It can be terrible to have a tribesman as a leader, he will alienate the rest.

When the Greeks talk about tribes, it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion, gang membership, group membership, party membership and even cult membership as a tribe.

A great percentage of Africans are tribesmen, because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes. They trust only their tribesmen

3. The last group are "Citizens".
These are people who like to do things the right way.
They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them.

They drive within speed limits.
They respect the laws, and won’t cheat in exams.
In government, they won’t steal.
They are compassionate and give to others to promote their well-being.

Citizens often promote projects that benefit everyone.
The Greeks called this group "The Citizens".

Some countries have more citizens than tribesmen and idiots, others have so many idiots.

A tribesman can become a citizen through orientation.
And an idiot can become a citizen by training and constant enforcement of the law.

But things fall apart if you elect an idiot or tribesman to lead you if he has not been reformed.

Where do you belong? Are you an idiot, a tribesman or a citizen? Reflect on your life.
Reflect about your immediate community, city, state and nation.

they are just empty noise makers, always trying to turn logic upside down like we can see them trying to spin the real fact history that clearly shows the part the Yorubas have played in advancing our democracy and justice and equality for everyone while they have always been at the other side of the divide, but today they are crying of marginalisation and victimisation……what a bunch of jokers grin

Hehehe 🤭

This protest was done immediately before the government made them aware that the "system" was actually enacted against the Igbos who naturally merited everything cool

Once the junior RoNu students found out the gimmick they all folded their placards and vacated the streets to celebrate their 'One Nigeria'" with their Hausa/Fulani brothers 🤗
But igbo repsentative were not intelligent enough then to support Yoruba decision.

If you can’t see the nexus between the Buhari question and the quota system considering the premise made earlier, I’m sorry I can’t engage further.
Ogbeni, you have zero point and obviously don’t even know what the term means and do I blame you?😂 No, I don’t because if your people hadn’t allowed the Fulanis to use you by supporting the unreasonable system and you had been afforded proper, merit-based education, you wouldn’t have made and repeatedly defended such a silly blunder. Buhari merited the position by the virtue of winning the vast majority of the votes cast in 2015 as he wasn’t given on a platter and the SW voted him massively partly because of their future interest (which they later achieved)
Do I blame them, no, it’s only a fool that plays politics without putting his interests at the forefront.
Again, talking about Merit, all Nigerians needed in 2015 was a truthful, honest and incorruptible leader (that was the merit than and nobody was after educational prowess of the contestants) and if we must be truthful with ourselves, Buhari merited that very criterion and he cajoled the vast majority using his non-Avaricious persona.
So please explain to us how and at what instance the SW were seen supporting the quota system. You should kindly support your claims with enough proofs like this report.

Thereafter, is it only Fulani 'Hausa that made quote system come to stay? How come? Quota System is the most obnoxious, toxic and most vexed issue about Nigeria.
Some groups in Nigeria declare themselves less educated, but the groups largely determine who must preside over Nigeria. Country must obviously be run underground.

I don't love Tinubu, because he is not ideal president. He is greedy, selfish and too power hungry. But your persistent attack on him because he is a Yoruba man is tending towards demonic obsession. And your condemnation of him is unprofessional, puerile and fostering bigotry.

Wow! So Yorubas used to be at the forefront of championing meritocracy in Nigeria?

Judging by the timeline, many of those students would be the ones running Nigeria today, but instead of promoting meritocracy, they are tolerating it and some of them are even celebrating it while it destroys meaningful progress in Nigeria.

Edit: Like many of you, it came as a surprise that Igbo students would have voted in support of quota system.

Then I sat back and reflected and I realised a possible reason why the Igbo students supported quota systems was because of the large loss of young Igbo lives during the Nigerian Civil War. Remember that this took place in 1970 which is the same year that the Nigerian Civil War came to an end.

Igbo students may have felt that quota system would have saved them from being numerically disadvantaged in student admissions because so many young Igbos lost their lives in the war.

Hey... In a country like Nigeria, if there is no quota system there will be unrest and rancour. That is the sad truth. That is why I curse whoever thought of joining the north and the south together.

Just imagine that the southerners are the only one getting admission to the university based on merit. There will be chaos. There will not be peace. If we really want to be successful and move forward as a country, the north has to be educated. Else they will not allow the south to rest.

The only way out is a total disintegration of this country or we patiently talk and help the north get education.

It's such a shame.

The article is from the October 2nd 1972 edition of the now defunct West Africa News Magazine
So the Igbos who now shouts Quota System against the north anytime a northerner fumbles in pósition of power actually started and agreed to Quota System in Nigerian University admissions.

Keeping Records is good

You dey mind the oponus. They are always found at the bad and most shameful sides of history. Always!
At the time when everyone was fighting Abacha, Ojukwu was pleading with and urging him to hang Abiola.
When others were fighting for freedom, Obi was boasting about how he was made chairman by the dictator. When one particular great and visionary man wanted to chip the secession clause into our constitution, we know that one person the devil used to truncate and frustrate the brilliant move but today, they are the ones begging for it just the same way they are now begging for the regional government their kinsman abolished😂😂
Nobody is going anywhere, One Nigeria for life!🤣

How did the Ronu people support mediocrity by rejecting the quota system? I'm sure you read the article well nut just decided to divert our attention to something else. Has the quota system actually helped the nation?

Quota system or not what is more damming is the phase 'eduational disadvantage ' giving priviledge to those who are bent in dragging us backward in all front, systemically, they are the bandits terrorists and the like now . Their leader waste our resources by not encouraging education in ni zones. The resultant effect is what we see today - insecurity

DeLaRue:
UNN supported. The great South West universities opposed.

Ironically, the South East are now the staunchest critics of the so called quota system in Nigeria.

Every history of Nigeria that I have read, I struggle to find a single time when the Yorubas have been on the wrong side.

Mr Awolowo argued for the inclusion in the constitution for each region to have the right to secede. Mr Azikwe took the side of the Northern Premier in front of the colonialists in London to argue against it. A few years later, Mr Ojukwu went to war fighting for the Mr Azikwe's East to secede from Nigeria, but the Nigerian government refused on the ground that no region has a right to secede. The same secession right that Mr Azikwe had, a few years ealier, staunchly opposed. Another irony.

At Independence, Mr Azikwe parnered with the North and the British to solidify power in the North despite the opportunity to align with Awolowo to design a modern, progressive foundation for Nigeria. In return, he was given a token role of ceremonial President, while the real power was given to a Northern Premier. Today, the South Easterns are the ones protesting 'Northern domination' the most.

Also today, a Yoruba President is transforming the economy and the political power - balance between the North and South to reverse decades of lopsided political and administrative domination by the North, but another Easterner, Mr Obi, will accept a token role of Vice President to a Northern President to reverse all the efforts of a Southern leader to set a more solid foundation for Nigeria's future. Yet, in 20 years time, Mr Obi's South Easterners bitter complaints about 'Fulani domination' will reach new heights. But they will forget the role of their leaders in facilitating, supporting, and entrenching the problems.

The Yoruba culture encourages caution, thinking before acting, not cutting your nose to spite your eyes, and being philosophical about life. I think all these qualities make them more likely to make the right decisions as a group.
Exactly and that is the Yoruba ronu spirit. It's something I have come to cherish, especially after reading about the kiriji wars. My only issue is there are better yorubas than Tinubu whose history is shoddy, but GOD uses the rejected stone to become the chief cornerstone.
