AFCON 25: Senegal Refuse To Train, Send Complaints To CAF Ahead Of Morocco Final by Odewaleadesoye(op): 10:34am On Jan 17

Senegal have raised several concerns to the Confederation of African Football, CAF, ahead of Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco in Rabat.

The Teranga Lions have refused to train at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.

They claim that the host team is based opposite the facility and their sessions could easily be monitored and recorded.

Senegal have now requested CAF to allocate them an alternative training venue.

They also revealed they were given only two VVIP tickets for the final and their access to purchase additional tickets was restricted.

Senegal have now called on CAF and the Local Organising Committee, LOC, to take urgent corrective measures to ensure fair play, equality and security ahead of the final.

Is it a must to host and win Afcon?
These Morocco own is too much,the intimidation against their opponents is too much,and CAF is unable to do anything about it.
For this final I go with Senegal to win the trophy.

In fairness to Senegal with regards to your point, they hosted in 1992 and cheated nobody. They did not win.

Also, Nigeria was even cheated in the final in Lagos as co-host in 2000. Nigeria cheated nobody.

Truth be told this is the most useless AFCON hosted by this north Africa , the officiating is nothing to write home about, with all these irregularities caf is not saying anything, the worst tournament so far

I know from day1 CAF would do everything possible to make Morocco win the AFCON.

Even though Nigeria didn't play as expected the officiating was biased that night. The eagles played against 13players, the referee and the Moroccan fans.

Senegal shouldn't dance to their tune, they should go all out and attack them from start to finish and don't make the mistake of allowing the Moroccans score first......

If CAF can't guarantee the barest minimums of fair play, Senegal should boycott the game. Nonsense and ingredients.

No matter what, if you do ya thing properly, you go beat anybody, even if dem dey on top the land of their ancestors....

Nigeria didn't play well, even with referee doing nonsense, they couldn't beat us in 90mins. If the Super Eagles had fired dem played their pks properly, wetin all those kinda blockheaded intimidation go fit achieve? It just that people get too much energy and always lose their cool. Lazy person like me go decide to ignore you ( I no even get choice as I dey too lazy to respond most times 😁) .... And as I dey ignore you, I dey do my thing the way I know... It has always worked for me. The only animal that could get under my skin and make me respond angrily na one of my boy. They were two like that the witches sent to trouble me. I thank the forces say I no get time with craze people, everybody don kukuma dey their own before the wereys burst my liver with anger ..
