So he probably wants to establish a fact that he is truly an Ijebu prince and a bonafide member of the family. Even if you don't select me as the next awujale, don't destroy my image, lineage and the future of my children. That's how I see it.

Nobody is denying he is an Ijebu prince, but he is from the Fidipote family, not Fusengbuwa. He has always acknowledged his Fidipote roots, but suddenly claims Fusengbuwa cos it's their turn to produce an Awujale.
