Guess who started that craze with the stupid retirement benefits for former governors?

That's even a lie, his Next close to Gwarimpa can house mini estate

@ the 2 people below have exposed how shallow they are like Peter Obi they are trying to defend.

Below is a definition of a house and his supermarket pass for that definition

"A house is a building in which people meet for a particular activity"

Playing betnaija normally reduces persons reasoning. I dont blame them
You put Obi's business in a rented house as his house.
See how dumb you have turned yourself because of tribal politics.

Obi said he has no house or land - landed property - in Abuja.
He did not say he has no business in Abuja.

See moomoo post. The same man invested state money into his own business. Pls stop.
This same con man put 250m of state money into the booth of a car and claimed it's to pay a contractor in 2013 when bank transfer is already widely used.
This same Conman invested Anambra money into a beer industry in which he had financial interest. He saved state money into a bank in which he has financial interest. He's nothing but a Con man
trying to play saintly is comical grin
How much did your governor saved? He could steal the money like your governor if he want and nothing would happen but he saved it.

This is how I see life. Seems 'm voting for the man in 2027. If for no other reason.
Don't worry, you can believe whatever you chose to believe. Don't forget that Pandora Investments is still yielding.

Where does he sleep whenever he's in Abuja? Obi needs to tell Nigeria and Nigerians.

Same way he said he couldn't afford Business Class tickets to Egypt in 2022 only to be flying charter flights up and down during the campaign in 2023.

My guy, don't stop your plan to start your own house this year. It may not be what you're told.

The truth will come out someday and you'll be disappointed.

Nobody is marketing rubbish. Peter Obi is the best candidate to fix Nigeria at this time. You have in Obi a man who conquered greed long ago. That's an uncommon trait among our politicians
Obi statement doesn't promote developments in the sense of it, if every Nigerians in Abj decided to be like Obi, that means Abj will remain undeveloped, hardly any tangible economic infrastructure could be seen anywhere. So, his handler needs to educate him on his utterances, cos it looks more of socioeconomic sabotage than of any political values.

Do former Nigerian governors keep their Abuja homes after leaving office?

AI Overview
"Yes, many former Nigerian governors keep their Abuja homes after leaving office, as these properties are often provided as part of generous, legally backed, "pension for life" packages passed by various State Houses of Assembly.

Here are the key details regarding this practice:
Legalized Perks: Approximately 25-26 states have passed laws allowing former governors and their deputies to receive lavish retirement benefits, which include furnished houses in Abuja or the state capital, with some specifically stipulating a house in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for those who served two terms."

Every state is free to do anything for a retiring Gov and his Deputy depending on the financial capabilities of the state.

Yes, Tinubu did it in Lagos bcoz the resources is available but our Anambra brother couldn't do it due to lack of funds.
