It means Ajayi is 32 now,I guess that's the only reason he is still in the championship because that lad is better than many or most defenders in the premiership. Also, we should go back to the days of carefully including 2 or 3 outstanding teenagers in our squad/call ups. This almost always yield dividends for national teams, a totally different setup from club football. Every nation has one or two outstanding teenagers, introduce them to the national team early. I think many of them passed through the U17 and some football academy while the rest are foreign-born, so the age issue is no longer how it was pre-MRI days. There may be a few instances but that shouldn't be a major concern anymore. Mirasteel: 1 Like |
