Provided it's the same amount of demand, free roads pay you better.

The platform is GetEquity (see screenshot below). I am not vouching for them oo. Just sharing information. Do your own due diligence before subscribing to any of the commercial papers, equity funding or debt notes. I will advise to only subscribe to well known companies such as Dangote, and Emzor.
Other platforms that are good for fixed deposit, mutal funds and treasury bills are Bamboo and Cowrywise.

It's amazing how they go from hero to zero between December and January. Taking trips not less than 10k in December to scrambling for crumbs in January. Then have the audacity to justify it. Zero standards. It's why the app companies will continue to take advantage of them.

If they sit tight and refuse to take such abysmal trips, the prices will reset itself. F**c the January narrative, there should be a minimum fare price at all times. There are trips everywhere. Those who want the ride will go for it. Not eating like a cow in December, then become a scavenging rat in January. How bro? 😀

Make dem dey talk anyhow, as if the reason lagos drivers outearn abuja, dem think say na becus lagos na former capital, without traffic, fares will be as terrible as abuja, these companies prioritise customers over drivers... The only way to get fair wages, unfortunately is when traffic dey... My guy wey dey mainland no dey understand my earning, last year... He thinks it's by coming to vi and lekki phase 1...not knowing its the traffic from ajah to jakande na him dey give me block.... 18 to 24k to Ikoyi is a normal for me.... For traffic wey i go sit down for 1hr? Wer adey rush go? With my ac on listening to the useless politics of the day on a full belly, wetin concern me with traffic apart from good money?

Though, I'm not advocating traffic as a way of boosting earnings. A fair wage regardless of traffic situation should be the common ground for everyone. Just to clarify.

We buy fuel in Nigeria nearly same amount with Europe and US while fares here are more than %80 less. Slavery. Cars are even more expensive here. Therefore, accepting low fares under any pretense is accepting being enslaved by the oyinbo app companies. If the wage is fair all year round, you don't need the rat race of December to get by.

It's my custom, after every trip, while waiting to pick another, I'm out of the car either standing on stretching.

My brother I just tire for that guy. Just dey argue like woman, on top something non of us have control of.

I hate traffic. I've been robbed at gunpoint in traffic. They broke my glass, took all our phones. An Uber driver was shot in the eyes on apongbon bridge inside traffic, he's totally blind today. I still feel back pains from December traffic.

Everything is not about money, health is wealth. But if you feel traffic driving is where you get your joy, all well and good. I'm not going to argue with anyone on that, that's your preference, one man's meat is another man's poison.

Is this business really profitable? My brother want to get a Nigeria used Corolla cost about 4.5m for me can 1 pay back his money in 2 years? His not adding any profit just the money he spend in getting the car for me. I'm currently doing a driving job of 120k monthly with no off day so I actually work Monday to Sunday with a Lebanese man, he gives me off anytime he likes. Pls I really need advice because I'm planning to resign from the job next month ending should I take the car? Or continue my work. I'm a very hard working person I just want to know if I will meet up with his payment consider that I also have family to feed if I take the car, pls advise is need I can also bear any kind of insult thank you all

If you hate traffic so much, why you are you in lagos guy man? Most importantly why are you doing uber in lagos? Last year my work was simple, take to Ikoyi/cms, find me way back to Abraham Adesanya netting 40 to 50k around 1 to 2pm... I go home study or Netflix and chill... You clown, people wey dey go 9 to 5 no dey sit in the same traffic (without ac for that matter)? Them don kpai finish, everything is not money, God will keep us alive for any day you open mouth to complain in the future about fares. Same you tackled me when I said I'm not relocating for greener pastures, you insisted it's greener pasture, ur hypocrisy stinks...mr cool cash who hates traffic, move to ibadan or calabar, why all drivers dey move to lagos to do uber? You hate traffic with passion, a man who lies to himself has no honor. You're coward, and ur lack of strength to take accountability in the face of truth means you're of lower quality than i surmised you to be....therefore I'll give no more replies to you.

Just to wade in, I realized traffic burns fuel and stresses one’s mental health. I try to avoid traffics but I avoid ridiculous prices twice more. I would go to a place that has 50% surge, if ETA is twice what it should be.

One thing I vowed never to try is to belittle myself by accepting ridiculous fare price. I would rather blow 70km empty.

Yes, if you're very disciplined and treat the payment as a must. Just make sure the car is very sound and won't be giving you unnecessary repairs and down-time. Since you're very hardworking, discipline is the next virtue you need

As simple as this comment is, it's exactly the summary of the point many of us have been trying to make.

Like what normal person deliberately want traffic for the sake of making money.

Mental health, car engine ware, fuel consumption, health threat to the driver etc.

Offcourse, ridiculous offer and prices MOSTLY happen on indrive where riders are allowed to ridiculous reduce price to the lowest, it one of the reasons why I avoid the App, I only use to destination when going home.

Very true. You need upwards of 40% pa to get that figure. Which is very rare in the money market.
However, I have seen some commercial papers that pay 40% pa.
This one in the screenshot was for 33% pa for 180 days (6months), it matures next month. Very savvy investors usually negotiate and bargin for higher rates and better terms especially if they are very liquid, and have good credit rating.

Pls provide full details about this company.
This is not the normal money market or Treasury bills

NB: Seen, but invest here cautiously, there's a lot I can say about this but just know that this is high risk, unguaranteed investment.
By rule of thumb any investment that offers higher returns than the prevailing official interest rate is informal, not under official exchange and should be avoided.
