Do you guys think that's the first time such a thing will happen in football
Did you not see bad referee decision? Was this particular one a referee fault?

Some people are just dumb. Diaz attempted a paneka. The whole drama about the issue affected his confidence.

I enjoyed watching the premium tears of the Moroccans. grin

They thought it would be business as usual but were disappointed. That useless CAF president should resign, he's worse than all APC politicians put together.

The Senegalese team came fully prepared, Nigeria wouldn't have been able to defeat them if they had made it to the final.
Exactly my thought. Super Eagles will only win on Social Media.

What is the different between today's officiating and Nigeria vs Morocco match? Did you think if not that Senegal leave the pitch, won't dey also rob dem too
Rob them how?

How were you robbed? Did the officials stop you from scoring as many goals as possible? Did the officials also rig the penalty shootout for them? You all should be objective on your analysis.

Thanks for this, I also am amazed that some think we were robbed. At no point did we put them under pressure consistently, all we did was defend stoutly and robustly.

Having said that, why do North Africans use that green laser of a thing? I am always happy when they do lose because of that.

What were you expecting him to say, that he did it deliberately. Why did he first tell the referee not to award the penalty, that the goalkeeper didn't touch him and why was he giving fair play award which he accepted

😅So they had a hasty meeting (where? when?) and agreed this is the solution and were sure both men would agree.
Then all the players and officials are then expected to keep quiet about it for the rest of their lives! If you were Diaz would you agree to risk your life and soil your reputation, then keep quiet about it for the rest of your life?!
See let me tell you the honest true, where I was watching. I told people that if I were the Moroccans I would deliberately miss the penalty just for fair play to reign and hope we win it in extra time. Yes, if I was Diaz I could have done same

and is a big shame for giant of africa not to have a single match official in this big tournament. If any team played the way Senegal played Morocco, there is not ojoro that can make them lose. But no, Nigeria team dey fear to play them, they played defensively, while Senegal played attacking with them. That's the best. Morocco may be doing ojoro, due to the host nation they are, and we are all biased because even if Nigeria host tournament, they will do the same and be calling it home advantage, but Morocco styles of played was dope. They really impressed everyone in Africa since world cup.
NFF should be blame for that

What are you saying what am I saying? This Senegal case, it was a clear penalty. The guy pulled the Moroccan player. So it is well deserved. The only thing Senegal could protest against is the fact that there was an offside the assistant referee should have blown earlier.

For the document you pasted, the player who missed the penalty said that he didn't miss it intentionally. So what are you trying to say?

He was given fair play award because he said that it wasn't a penalty before the referee awarded it. Not because he missed the penalty. There was even a rebound in the penalty and they still scored, so what changed?

Another person scored not him. Anyways lets leave that. What has happened has happened, let's wait and see if the truth will come out in future or not

Oh! I didn't know you were talking about the Senegal own. That was actually a penalty. For the one I pasted, Fowler actually told the referee it wasn't a penalty, and you expect him to admit he missed it on purpose after the ref insist it was a penalty. Hope you know he was giving a fair play award for it

Nigerians were robbed by not giving Moroccans yello card and for giving us yellow card when our players did not do anything wrong. That is why we could not pass well, the wings were ineffective and we lost the penalty. I think we should have walked out of the field too

Oliseh is very fluent in English and several other languages. In fact, I can bet that he’s more fluent than you are in English angry

Give an example since the history of football when a player SAID he was told to miss a penalty kick.
Morrocco will be screaming at top of their voice right now if anyone even TRIED to tell them to do ANYTHING!
Diaz that has been dropped from their Olympic team and may retire from football!

That miss was deliberate. Very deliberate.
In 2022 World cup, Hakimi scored the winning penalty against Spain with Penenka. It could have been a goal. He meant to score but the God of Justice said no

Ogbeni, you sure say you get job so? How old are you sef? You don pass WAEC? Guy, this na Monday morning o. Your mates are out hustling for their daily bread and you dey here since last night insisting on your conspiracy theory say Diaz was told to miss the penalty.

Did you see the Morrocan coach and other team officials and players yelling at him after he tried that nonsense penalty? If they told him to miss, why were they shouting at him? Why was Diaz mentally finished after missing it sotey them remove am? Why was he crying all through on the bench? If he wanted to miss intentionally, why didn’t he play the ball wide as that’s the easiest way to miss the penalty?

Who tell you say the Senegalese no celebrate? Go rewatch the match? The celebrated but low key cos the match was not over. You expect them to dey jump for joy when there was still 30 minutes to go?

Guy, you don’t sound like someone that has ever been involved in any professional work to say that Diaz missed that goal intentionally.
