Good evening to my fellow Nigerians. Funniest part was that in 2020, we complained about the expense of things😅

Ibime:Don jazzy, yes. Olamide, No. The later came in 2010...sane as wizkid. Followed by davido, burna boy. They actually gained from the foundation laid by them early 2000 artistes. But they built from that foundation to give the new artistes we have now the global platform they are enjoying |

Emaprince:I thought Eni duro was 2008 when DaGrin died but you are right, that was 2010 |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Kikelomogbenga: 7:33pm On Jan 18 |
Emaprince:I always thought Olamide was older than wizkid in the industry. That's a testament to how many young blood he has brought into the industry. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Emaprince: 7:52pm On Jan 18 |
Kikelomogbenga:They dropped personal songs same year. But Wizkid is older in the industry, cos he was already making buzz, appearing on stage with banky in 2008..and featured in MI's first album. People already knew who wizkid was before Olamide came. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by KingTom(m): 8:22pm On Jan 18 |
Emaprince:💯! Fast Money Fast Cars with MI the GOAT (c) 2008 But for the personal Eni Duro was 2009 and Holla at your boy was 2010 |

Emaprince:But why does wizkid not carry people along? So many years in the industry yet he can't boast of producing one good and consistent talent. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:44am On Jan 19 |
CrystalTiger:They left the Rev Father from plataeu kneeling before the graves of his members , they left the Rev Father Anegbe of Benue who raised the alarm and testified in the US respectively and thy are focusing on the position of a "Screwdriver salesman in Onistsha"? on the massacre going on in the north against minority Christian population?😲. Omo! Propaganda on steriods right before our eyes. |

Roland17:This is not 1966 sha..Ihe onye obula choo ugbu a ka oga ahu..My head has been hot seeing our local media houses carrying such news.. liveLongNprospa:Very powerful.. BlueRayDick:The whole thing is just crazy, was seeing the report all over Twitter yesterday and I was genuinely shocked.. How's it possible that someone will even do such a thing and the US will not put it under "Classified" information.. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by KingTom(m): 7:26am On Jan 19 |
CrystalTiger: Emeka must have some high-tech screwdrivers 🪛 to be able to pinpoint terrorist locations just like that, abeg make he sell one for me Rubbish! look at how the baboons splattered the man's name and face on media pages |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:11am On Jan 19 |
KingTom:That's my fear too. Putting the man's life at risk. If he is killed even by malaria, it becomes a Muslim Christian issue. I really don't know how a whole New York Times would report such. A Screwdriver seller that no Nigerian knew, is the one that manipulated a whole USA? |

Thank you guys for the wishes. Nagode |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 8:49am On Jan 19 |
izzou:Let me tell you what I think happened in this case: I think American local politics is being taken too far and same being projected on the issues in Nigeria. The tone of that New York Times news piece sounds like their intention was to discredit Trump's action as regards the airstrikes in Sokoto last December. You know Trump has his own issues with some media organizations inside America and New York Times is one of them. In order for NYT to be able to discredit the American airstrike, they need to discredit people like Riley who has been in the forefront of the Christian Genocide issue. So to do that, they need to attack the source of data that has been quoted by Riley in his numerous posts on social media and his reports in congress. I guess that was what led them to digging into the ownership/control of one of the Civil Organizations that has reported the Christian gencoide going on in the north and found goldmine . Seeing the civil organization was registered by that man they called "screwdriver salesman in Onitsha", they just decided to pivot their propaganda in that direction and claim Trump relied on wrong intelligence to carry out the airstrike. A section of the Nigerian media and some dishonest people denying the true situation of things have further amplified it by going with the IPOB/Igbo Agenda by splashing pictures of the man on the internet thereby exposing him to imminent danger. In all these both NYT and a part of the Nigerian media chose not to speak about the fact that Rev Dachomo was making heartwrenching videos while burying his congregations who are victims of the said genocide. They chose to ignore the fact that Rev Father Anegbe of Makurdi Catholic Diocese actually travelled to America to appear before a house sitting on the Christian genocide in Nigeria. They forget that even FG sent delegation to the same America o. In fact, there was one Middle Belt guy on Twitter resident in America (I don't the exact town he's from) resident in America who claimed he actually wrote to his Rep in the US congress about the plight of his people and it was that petition that led to them Riley getting involved. The way I see it, the government is more interested in playing politics with their $9m war chest for Lobbying/propaganda rather than addressing the issues surrounding religious intolerance/persecution happening up north. |

iamoyindamola:Few months ago I saw one bros make a video about him on TikTok. In that Video the bros was calling out his management for not doeing enough to manage his affairs well. He lamented how he was paid for a show to perform but by the time he came on stage he was apparently under the influence of hard drugs. The bros said he was shocked that he couldn't even sing his own song that was composed by him well because of the level of jonzing. He said he was making that video because later when they start asking for public donation to treat him for any health-related issue, he will not contribute a dime. When I saw the news of his death, my mind just went straight to that bros' video. I'm sure very soon bloggers will start sharing that bros video as a doom prophecy that came to pass. |

KingTom:Funny shiiit. The Nigerian Government admitted the American airstrike in Sokoto was a joint operation of the Nigerian and American governments. But lobbyist and propagandist are saying America relied on Onitsha based screwdriver salesman. No be juju be that? |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 10:37am On Jan 19 |
BlueRayDick:This is to let you know the kind of journalism that politics of bitterness has engendered in the US. The same we complain about the dearth of good journalists in Nigeria is the same way the US public is complaining. There are people who will automatically believe the opposite of whatever is being reported on the news. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 10:55am On Jan 19 |
iamoyindamola:Apart from concotion sef, the kind of things those boys take in the name of highness is just too much. I think it was 2022 or 2023 one dancer on TikTok vomitted blood before he passed out. It was later confirmed it was excessive abuse of Colos that led to his untimely death. Till date when I see them doing all those street dance that requires serious energy on TikTok, I always believe they get energy from the drugs they consume. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 11:03am On Jan 19 |
afrodoc2:Like...It's terrible, it just seem as if their journalism is agenda driven all rounder. I normally do not follow American politics because I don't really have much interest in what happens over there when Nigeria own still dey there, but recently I've been noticing that things over there is almost heading the same way as we have it here. Even by the comments of their citizens on social media one can sense some shift. It's just like logic is being turned on its head and people will just choose to believe whatever appeals to their bias. I've seen people in Trump's government arguing with data that was generated by the same government. I've also seen people on the other side too support lawlessness just to discredit Trump's government. The sanctity of their laws and incorruptible law enforcement/judicial system sef is being affected by the whole thing happening. People are just picking sides and the media is leading the way |
