Did this issue started as a result of changing shaft cup?

If no, seek second opinion, preferably a gear master. And solve the problem fast. That gear is pricey.

Please bosses, if my temporary DL expired and I had it extended, what do I submit for bolt registration. The extension was written at the back and bolt doesn’t recognize it.

Check the flywheel in between engine and gear also, try to trace those pipes connected to the gear for possible leakage.

Toyota is notorious of shorting oil even if engine is not smoking. Try and change your oil to the regular 20w50 and see if it will stop

I had same experience.
Even if you change oil now, it won't solve the issue.
It's the rings, Toyota cars doesn't have to smoke before you know it's rings. There is already a gap in the rings. It only start to smoke if the gap becomes bigger, by then, fuel consumption would have increased.

Go to the market with your mechanic tell him to buy original rings , because there's fake too that doesn't last - usually fails within 6 months.

Change to Total 20w 50 best for Nigeria weather. Ensure you change it every 3000-4000km. The rings will last even up to 4-5 years.

Don't you dare touch 20w 50...unless you wanna toast that engine. 5w 40 is what you wanna try out next, corolla vvti system is not for 20w 50...unless say ur engine don go kpatakpata.

20w - how quickly ur oil flows and lubricates when engine is cold... 20 is THICK, 5w lubricates fast....

40 or 50 (the second number) - how thick it is when engine/oil is hot... Since ur engine is shorting oil, thin oil(30) is getting combusted due to weak rings.... So if ur shorting is not bad bad, 5w 40 is ur next bet... I made that costly mistake with my muscle and eod, research b4 using any oil type, otherwise you'll accelerate ur problem real fast... I suggested visco 2000... 20w 50 to my guy who complained about oil shorts, corolla too... He was happy and thanked me, the problem he faced a year later cost him 300k...but only becus of wrong diagnosis, due to how complex the problem was at the time, na me still help am detect the problem, a 30k naira fix... And na thick oil damage that component. So you fit try am oh, it's ur choice, make an informed one. Don't rush to ring the engine yet, unless you have a REALLLYYYY sure mechanic who knows his onions. Keep managing it till it starts smoking real good.

5w 40 oil next... Use am, give feedback...if no improvement b4 you try 20w 50.

If you're sure you bought original oil don't bother yourself Bro, Toyotas are notorious for oil shortages in fact almost every engine will start shorting oil after a long usage.
If it's a car you're using for ehailing it's likely to happen after 2 or 3 weeks, it's a used car not brand new only very few cars survive this.
But then always make sure you are servicing the car promptly, don't be listening to those that will tell you one oil must last you two months or more, this is Nigeria.
A lor of things comes into play.

If you go and ring that engine there is 50/50 chances there will be stories, after you might have spent huge amounts of money.

The best thing is to go to market with a very good mechanic that is experienced with engines, take note experienced with engines so you will get a good replacement if you don't want to be using it like that.

Or you keep using it like that, but make sure you always check the oil level every now and then, since you're using it for ehailing.
