Your Building Project As A Salary Earner Under Tinubu Govt. by Jicks55(op): 3:54am On Jan 20
As a salary earner, I bought a land under Buhari government and started the foundation before Tinubu came into power. Right now, I'm still wondering what's really going on, I have increased in salary but still can't spare any amount for the project.

Right now, almost all my colleagues are thinking of other streams of income to be able to survive.
Have you been able to execute your building project as a salary earner since President Tinubu assume office?

Re: Your Building Project As A Salary Earner Under Tinubu Govt. by givedemwotowoto: 4:16am On Jan 20
Tinubu is a weapon fashioned against Nigerians.

Over 90% of Nigerians have lost their life savings to extreme hardship, inflation, and insecurity – since Tinubu took office.

He failed to do his job of dealing with insecurity and protecting Nigerians, and when pressured, invited Trump to launch airstrikes on the North.

Vote him out of office in 2027, don't repeat the mistake of 2023.

Considering the cost of things now, it will be difficult for civil servants and public servants to build even a one bedroom bungalow.

Now that President Buhari is dead, you're confessing that you had more than enough yet insulted the poor man for 8 years. Smh.

He is probably turning with disgust at this your ingratitude.

You lot never say the truth and this is part of the reason nobody takes you serious and the land never blesses you.

Naira was 450 to a dollar when Tinubu came in
Now it's 1450 ... If you are not earning 3.3 times what you earned in may 29th 2023 you are effectively poorer

Una think say all these economic data don't have real life effects?

Do you know the type of inflation that occurred under Tinubu?

NBS keeps rebasing the calculation to give you a false figure, read the chart below and understand better, except your salary was increased with about 582 percent then sorry, you have not met the value of your salary in Buhari's time... we warned seriously about this man, some people thought we hated him or his tribe, if you supported him then you know you have a hand in what you are going through.

economy dead
it can only be tribalism and religious bigotry

You are very correct sir.

He has always been a weapon of extreme poverty shege fashioned against Lagosians since 1999, before he was allowed to replace his expired Buhari in Aso Rock three years ago, for continuity of APC clueless mismanagement of our country.

Why and how did he succeed to hold us captive all this long huh

Is it just our divisive tribalism? Or there is something else?

anonimi:
The eyesore on Bourdillon Road
2nd January 2025

Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.

If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance.

That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious account was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.

May be you need to diversify also instead of blaming.

Nigeria should continue to rotten so far you want to build a house.

Your question should be , "how have you been feeding well since Tinubu became president". Life as a salary earner in Nigeria today has become the more you look the less you see.

Na you no first work on creating other streams of income first. Normally it's not a wise advice to even build a house if you are civil servant for living except you want to build and sell, rinse and repeat, best for civil servants is mortgaging but it's very hard already in Nigeria.
