My second quote is lifted directly from your article

Riley did not visit sokoto. He did not visit the north west

It is right there in the article where he spoke about terrorism in the North East and Christian persecution in the Middle belt by fulani gangs

So the attack in sokoto which is in the North West is not premised on any information gathered during his visit.

Or maybe I am missing how a missile attack in sokoto would protect Christians in benue. Or stop terrorists in borno.

It is really very simple. NYT says Riley and Co referenced Emeka the NGO (na you dey call am screwdriver). It is for them to come out and deny. I do not have the energy or time to start sifting through these politicians speeches, but I suspect nyt has the all the information on hand and will make more available if Riley and Co issue loud denials.
So what are you driving at Niqqa?

There is difference between intel and propaganda

Their intel will be top notch

Emeka own is used for propaganda by Senators to sell it to their public. Military don't use propaganda to plan strikes.
The people wey believe or wey dey create defence for d nonsense.
, go respect intel as the perfect terms for d info...

The article contradicts the actions taken
According to riley

Persecution in the middle belt
Terrorism in the North East

So on what basis did we now have missile attacks in sokoto in the north west?

The comprehensive approach was a missle attack in a completely different area?
But the Nigerian government admitted that they provided the Intel for the strike.

Or did Emeka give Tinubu the PDF document too?

How is this propaganda making sense?

I tell you!

The FG admitted that they were the ones who gave US the Intel. We all clapped our hands

Today, I should now believe that Emeka Screwdriver was the one who convinced the USA to attack....

I'm still asking how we never heard of this guy until last night.

The whole thing no just get leg to stand on.

One would expect FG to shut the story down as soon as possible ; but if they don't it would mean they align with the propaganda

Anyone following news in Nigeria for the past 20yrs could have given the information what the they claimed the screwdriver seller did

Its common knowledge the killing of Christians in the middle belt

The attempt to discredit Trump actions everywhere is what brought about this NYT article since they must reflexively be against everything Trump does

Exactly!

As far back as 2014 during NYSC orientation camp there was this guy in my room that would talk about how Boko Haram go to villages in his LGA in Borno state attacking christian dominated areas every night.

He narrated how they would offer villagers a chance to switch religion or have their village burned down. They would slaughter all adult males and abduct adult female villagers to marry them as wives after forcefully converting them. The kids will be left as orphans.

It all sounded like a made-up tale until orphaned Christian students from Borno, Adamawa and Yobe were transferred to our school in the north west on federal government scholarship.

The issue predates the current government sef. So I wonder why anybody would want to deny these things are not happening.

Tinubu has consistently shown he doesn't care about optics sha, so this is not surprising at all.

Somebody who has fighting corruption as one of his campaign promises awarded a multi-trillion naira road project to the company owned by the man who aided Abacha to steal over $300million from Nigerian treasury. And now he's awarding the same man GCON.

Zero care about optics!

How many indigenous Nigerians have been bestowed with GCON sef?

We are talking about the highest National Honors after the GCFR...

I don't know what a Nigerian will contribute to the Lebanese economy, before they give that to you.

Most likely. I believe dual-citizenship is allowed.

If we apply this to Nigerians born in the UK, USA, Canada, etc they would not be able to hold office or receive awards in those countries.

BlueRayDick’s approach might be more fruitful. What has he done to deserve the award and what has he done not to deserve the award.

That's what I asked....

How many Indigenous Nigerians have gotten the award? The last I heard was Dangote.

And it's not about holding an office. People hold offices everywhere. But a National honour, because you invested in Banana Island and Eko Atlantic?

Your last statement is what you should be focusing on. What has he done as indigenous or non indigenous Nigerian or even as an extra terrestrial alien to deserve the award.

The indigenous and non-indigenous Nigerian part won’t really work.
Several indigenous Nigerians have gotten the award. Unless you have a number you are looking for that you will be happy with before they start giving non-indigenous Nigerians.

Outside politics narrows it. Likely less than 10. I believe I know 4.

What number will you be happy with before they start giving non-indigenous Nigerians. Or should we focus on whether the person deserves it or not?

I don't believe GCON should be shared to everybody. It should be a National Honour reserved for the top position of the country.

For you to earn GCON, every part of Nigeria should have felt your effort, not because you built Eko Atlantic.

Na the guy own Eko Hotel and Suites. I guess when they want to defend this national honours award, they will point out his investment in the Nigerian economy with his various companies being highlighted.

They will deliberately turn blind eye to his criminal acts against the country in the past.
