Even after 14 weeks, avoid hard sex. Some years back my wife lost her first pregnancy just after we had sex. Trust me, the trauma was severe. The first trimester phase of pregnancy is extremely sensitive, treat it as you would treat a raw egg.

Well the doctor has to give a medical advise, if you have waited for 3yrs for the first pregnancy, it's best you stick to doctor's not nurse counsel.
