I think it is a barn owl. Very endangered species. You can sell it or keep it, BUT DONT EAT IT.

These birds are not meant to be domesticated unless they're bred indoors. Besides, they are nocturnal. Imagine you're sleeping and a bird is flapping wings in your living area at night. LET IT GO! Whatever you do, don't harm it.

You are not totally correct.
Most times, the intention for Nigerians or Africans eating just anything does not stem from the fact that everyone does it.
It actually is because we are poor. And since we are, we eat everything everywhere as far as it is for free.

I thought the apex of every food was meat, but then when I went to another society, I discovered it was one of the cheapest and accessible things. If you give me some things that Nigerians eat now, I will reject it.

That bird is scary mehn! It was just flying around like a helicopter and nobody had the courage to capture it because of its sharp claws.
