Just look at Jesus making himself available to receive the ball unlike Gyokeres

Roland17:
I am really disappointed with the news of Nwaneri's loan because this isn't a case of not being good enough for the first team.

The truth is, Arteta has shown that he can only coach certain kinds of players. He struggles to manage or develop players with talent outside his core strength. We are seeing this with how he managed Nwaneri and now Eze/ Gyokores, even though everyone agrees Odegaard hasn't done enough to justify a starting place.

I hope RDZ is intentional and gives him good minutes because I have no doubts.
RDZ is a risk taker and lover of youths

It's like Merino and Gyokeres will swap positions. Merino has been dropping stinkers in midfield lately. Maybe he should just stick to playing striker.

BTW, Eze is losing ball too much
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:23pm On Jan 20
This our inability to clear the ball completely will always haunt us. That was the same thing that heppened in our first match vs Aston Villa.

When defenders block shots and prevent opponents from having a shot on goal, our Midfielders should be close by to complete the clearance

Eze is just struggling to flow with the tide/page of the game.

Saliba is playing too deep into Inter Milan's half and it's not safe at all. We were lucky not to have conceded from that Inter counter Sha

When he fails to impose himself in matches like this, it makes it difficult for the coach to trust him with starting role in EPL matches especially when we are under pressure to get results.

I get you. But I think a few mins here and there would’ve kept him sharp.

Was his last EPL goal the hattrick against Spurs?

This is the second time they are kicking trossard instead of ball

Did you see the ball he just lost now that led to Inter counter?

If they score from such counter attack it can actually make it difficult for the coach to trust him with more starting chances

That’s why I only mentioned him getting minutes as a sub.

Zubimendi, BTW, is really struggling in that midfield. The defensive workload on him is quite much.

You should know he's not a war horse like Rice that run from one end of the pitch to the other in the blink of an eye.

Tho I agree he should be playing closer to our box when we are defending Sha

Yeah, without Rice to complement him Merino is more attack minded and Eze is having a stinker. It's expected for Zubi too to struggle

He dey and unfortunately he's been having much of the ball but his decision making has been terrible... He has chances to play in Jesus for Hat-Trick but shoot wayward...
