Everything about your journey in Chile na 100percent, as if na so E take dey easy. Better share your failures and struggles too, and stop making it look like Chile is heaven.
Well, Nigerians are naturally easy to deceive, especially the ones living in Nigeria due to poverty and lack of exposure.

I sometimes wonder if I am the only one who migrated out of Nigeria and doesn’t miss Nigeria one bit. I don’t even want to visit Nigeria. I know some Nigerians in chile and they keep on reminiscing about Nigeria. When I think about Nigeria all that comes to my mind is Bleep Nigeria
I escaped Nigeria but could never get Nigeria outta my head.
I remember them in my floor 17 beachfront apartment, I would see the sunset 🌇 every evening and outta boredom would shed a tear or two because I missed home so much.

You can't blame your lads, some of us are built this way.

I like how you are enjoying the country, going to every corner of chile experiencing it. That's how to live

Unlike my friend who lived in Dubai for over 6years but never saw the burjkhalifa (so unforgiving)

...enjoy your life bro, enjoy vacations inside of chile, see sites you could only see in magazines. Create a lasting memory for yourself

We are really different. Since I left Nigeria I don’t miss anything about Nigeria. I don’t think I might ever visit again.

I do but I only miss my mother. I will get her a visa to always be able to come visit me when she wants. I don’t really care about the other people in my family

Forget this. To get into any chilean university as an undergraduate you have to take the PAES it’s their own equivalent to JAMB and it’s only done in Spanish.

Valentine’s Day gift from my gf

Re: Memoirs From Chile by tensazangetsu20(op): 12:07am On Feb 15
When I first came to Chile, I was starting from below ground level. Even though I had learned Spanish in Nigeria, I couldn’t understand much during my first few months. I also had very little money, so life was tough and sometimes brutal.

But step by step, things began to change. Today, life is much better. I moved from living in a shared house to having my own apartment. I have an amazing girlfriend and a great job, and soon I’ll try my hand at business again.

My journey is proof that things can improve with persistence and faith. I hope my story inspires young people in Nigeria who are struggling to find their way. No matter how hard it seems, there is hope. They too will find success wherever they go, in Jesus’ name.

Some more weekend side quests. Travelling around and seeing more of Chile

Re: Memoirs From Chile by tensazangetsu20(op): 3:04pm On Apr 23
Ever since I moved to Chile, I’ve noticed a huge change in my health and environment. Back in Nigeria, I used to get sick frequently whether it was malaria or food poisoning, I was constantly dealing with stomach issues and rushing to the bathroom most mornings. It got so common that we always kept emergency medication at home for diarrhea and similar problems. But in the three years I’ve been here, I haven’t experienced any of that. I also haven’t seen rats, cockroaches, or even houseflies, which still surprises me.

Capybaras are not pests that cause illness. They are just sociable rodents found mostly in South America. They are edible too.

Tensazangetsu20, judging with what you know now. If you are to relocate in 2026 where would you choose between the Nordic countries (especially Norway 🇳🇴) , Brazil 🇧🇷 and Chile 🇨🇱 ?

Putting into consideration citizenship timeline, ease of getting a good paying job, cost of living and other things you might have used in choosing Chile in 2023.

In order of what I will choose chile, Brazil. Honestly I rather stay in Nigeria than go to Norway. The Norwegian language isn’t easy to learn and it’s extremely difficult to get a job there.
