He is going to prison for nothing. EFCC has already recovered 800 million. First Bank on their own did transfer reversal of another 300 million. He has the option of paying a 5 million naira fine or going to prison for 1 year. But he MUST still pay back 272 million naira. If he doesn't, the court will give him a heavier sentence. In all, he has lost. |
