we do chat. he is complaining of tax. He said he had to work day and night shift all tru December to be able to meet up his bills.

He got a factory job in uk where he earns up to 800k per day. same hrs. Different pay.

No be only 800k na 800 million, factory job that they can tell him to go home tomorrow because there is not enough shift and they will call you back, keep doing Naira to Pound conversion nonsense.

Ask ur self whats the minimum wage? Its 12 pounds and a little cents from whats is available online and do the maths.... Probably the friend is working 8 hours or max 12hrs a day and whatever he earn a day u remove 20% as tax.

House rent is monthly plus other expenses. Which if removed u might be getting 50 or 40 pounds in a day. As profit depending in city he reside.

If he works 4 days then he gets profit of 200 per week and 800 per month.

Probably he came on study visa as dependant or student this cost over 60 million for 2 adult.

My point is, whatever they earn and no matter how u look at it, they still have something to save because they already know their expenses for the month unlike Nigeria where we have unnecessary expenses and most people live abnormal life calling it free way of living . Uk is not for lazy people, you work for the money and for your information, the prime minister is not even close to any of the highest paid workers in the uk
