Sometimes you just have to observe before you take action.

You both are in APC, but Fubara is rated way ahead of him

Sentiment and Emotions aside...this is a fair response from the Chief Judge.

It's not about for or against Fubara...it's the law.

No it will not.
I hope you people know Fubara foes not have the balls to do all these things he appears to be doing
The camp that is beating Fubaras drum is the same camp Wike is working for.

2023: PDP and politics of healing Wike’s self-inflicted injury

Then, the race began in earnest for three years now, reaching a frenzy with the works of the two PDP committees on zoning. The first was the Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi committee on the zoning of the PDP party offices. The Ugwuanyi committee quickly told the world the committee’s assignment did not cover zoning the office of the president. Though this was true, the question is: why didn’t the Ugwuanyi committee zone the PDP chairmanship to the North without aligning it to the divide that would produce the PDP presidential flag-bearer? The second committee headed by Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state was specifically on the zoning of the presidential ticket and, with the votes of the representatives of all the 17 Southern states without any exception, the Committee unanimously recommended throwing open the PDP presidential ticket, which the PDP NEC simply upheld.

One thing irrefutably stands out – Wike shot himself in the leg. Here was a man who had an overarching influence on both committees but could not insist that the ticket be zoned South. Many had wondered why? The reason is also relatively in plain sight: the Southeast factor. As the clamour for zoning of the presidential ticket of the PDP to South reached its crescendo, many had pointed out the fact that though the PDP Constitution had prescribed zoning of the office of the president to be between North and South since the South-west and South-south had taken their turns in producing the president and the vice in this current dispensation in the persons of Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, zoning this time around, should not just be to the South but the Southeast.

Atiku Abubakar went a step further by offering to step down from the race if it would be agreed that the touted zoning to the South would mean micro-zoning to the Southeast. Wike and the rest could not take the Atiku challenge maybe because Atiku would likely back Peter Obi, who was his vice-presidential running mate in 2019 and an ally. The prospects of Peter Obi picking the ticket if PDP zoned South was so real compelling Wike to go for an open contest, believing he could pick it up ahead of Atiku, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed, given his large war chest.

Fubara is now playing the game.

Next, is to petition EFCC and ICPC on the Constituency project money and ensure the agencies act on it. By then they won't be talking about the Governor but engaged with how they won't land in jail.

Give them a good chase.
Re: Chief Judge Of Rivers State, Justice Amadi Replies Assembly Speaker by hotseat: 4:26pm On Jan 22
The CJ and the RSHA know that the only remedy is to go on appeal to vacate the order of the lower court.

Any other thing is merely a waste of time.

For now, there's a stalemate between the Governor and the House.

If the judgement of the Court of Appeal goes either way, another appeal is expected to go to the Supreme Court being the final abiter.

It's after the judgement of the Supreme Court before a victor would then emerge.

However, whichever way the pendulum swings, nothing shall remain the same between both camps going forward.

The issue at stake now is more of ego than legal!

We shall see who blinks first!

Fubara didn't go on a 6-month suspension. He went on a 6-month crash course on politics and manipulation. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

I love this version of Fubara. The previous one before the state of emergency was everywhere, naive, not calculated.

This new version is cool, calculated, bolder, and no dey do gra gra. He will forever thank Tinubu for that savvy maneuver, which gave him a way out.

The Judiciary is one of the infinity stones of Wike; Fubara don kolobi am cheesy grin grin

It's looking like na Fubara go demystify Wike - no one saw it coming, neither did Wike. If that impeachement move fail, Wike is in trouble. Wike knew what he was saying when he said "his political career will end if Fubara goes for second term" or something like that. cheesy cheesy cheesy

In all of this sha, na Rivers citizen go suffer am. Political battle instead of dividend of democracy.

Let the game continue. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

This is the worst Chief Judge in the history of Rivers State. A corrupt beggar like Sim who has reduced the judiciary to a department of the executive branch. A shame to Rivers State and the judiciary. He has descended into the arena with the forgery dangling over his head. Once Fubara and his deputy are out, he is next.

BREAKING: Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Chibuzor Simeon Amadi, declines to set up a seven-man panel to investigate the allegations of gross misconduct levelled against Governor Sim Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Ordu, citing two court orders which barred him from appointing a panel.

Justice Amadi also noted that the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule, has already filed an appeal against the court orders at the Court of Appeal.

Fubara can never be impeach here
Re: Chief Judge Of Rivers State, Justice Amadi Replies Assembly Speaker by eteba(m): 6:39pm On Jan 22
I know an average nigerian politician is greedy and a thief.
With all these dramas, it would be difficult to impeach Fubara, but it may not be so difficult to deny him a second tenure.
His chances of apc ticket is slim as he has been ambushed already, he has zero party structure.
If he gets ADC guber ticket, his chances of winning the election is slim, Amaechi can't stand Wike in Rivers politics.

Now see what Fubara did; the Ibas emergency rule submitted appropriation to national assembly, excluding the governor and the assembly's interest since they were on suspension.
because of the dragging on Commissioner list by Wike, using the assembly.
The governor said his office doesn't need any money, that he'll work with Ibas budget, refused to send in supplementary budget, thereby starving the assembly service commission and by extension the assembly members of funds.
But Wike is bankrolling them bigtime.
So what's uppermost on their plate is the governor not returning 2027, impeachment won't work and they know.

Sim Fubara has been cornered tightly, it's only Tinubu that can give him any lifeline, but Jagaban na Wike strong man, forget social media commentaries.

Head or tail. I see Wike as the lower here. Going to asPC he will not be admitted. To go back to PDP the party he has destroyed, he dare not. Hmmm. When you are digging the grave of your enemy. Make it shallow, peradventure you fall into it. Its a stupid fly thst follows the dead to the grave.
