AMINDA:If the world bank has said otherwise you would have accepted it. Empirical evidence is showing that the reforms are turning out positive. A comparison of real life activities for 2024 and 2025 clearly show so. Haters will privately accept this. I look forward to 2026 being better than 2025. |

AMINDA:Beyond statistics, go to the open market. Talk to the populace. I'm well schooled in finance and economics but beyond this what I do bring me closer to various groups - professionals, salary earners, traders, youths, children etc. Definitely there is upswing in economy by end of 2025 relative to 2024. It is expected that the same trend will continue in 2026. The reforms are maturing. |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by LegalWolf: 7:49am On Jan 16 |
Brendaniel:I am more than happy to indulge you. But before I do, I need to be sure that you have a baseline understanding of when someone's dream is a cancer to the society. What do you understand by that to start with? |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by Brendaniel: 7:50am On Jan 16 |
LegalWolf:Answer my question first, then I will answer yours, I asked you first... |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by LegalWolf: 1:10pm On Jan 17 |
Brendaniel:How would I answer question if you don't even know the basis for my assertion? I promise I will answer your question - but before I do, just demonstrate that you know the basis for me asserting that Obi's dream is a cancer! |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by Brendaniel: 3:03pm On Jan 17 |
LegalWolf:You made an assertion, and I asked you why you made it, if I knew, would I be asking you why? Then you are here telling me that I should tell you the basis for your assertion before you tell me the reason for your assertion, If I knew it, would I have asked the question in the first, it is because I don't know your reason or basis for your assertion, that's why I asked you... So what is the problem here? I hope I'm talking with someone who is mentally balanced? |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by LegalWolf: 6:11am On Jan 20 |
Brendaniel:If there is ever a question regarding anyone's sanity, it should be you not me. Anyone with a modest grasp of intelligence would recognise there are two different questions: you are asking why I believe someone's dream is a cancer and I am asking if you even know what cancer mean in the context! If you don't understand the meaning of cancer, how would my explanation make sense to you. Hope you have the mental bandwith to follow? |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by Brendaniel: 8:50am On Jan 20 |
LegalWolf:So you only want the meaning of cancer, no wahala, that's the meaning below, oya answer my question, how is Peter Obi's presidency a cancer to Nigeria? Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body.

| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by LegalWolf: 5:27am On Jan 21 |
Brendaniel:Thank you - this would have solved the problem long time ago! Obi's dream is a cancer that must not be allowed to fester for three reasons: 1. Lack of Spine: At no point has Obi shown leadership to take charge of anything. The list of examples is long, but Kenneth Okonkwo and Datti have done excellent jobs chronicling this. He vacillates on issues and that's a danger. 2. Lack of antecedents: Every leader is a trumpet of their achievements. All, but with one notable exception - Peter Obi. He has never told us what he did, but what they do in China and Bangladesh. Let's go verify. Because he's got nothing to show! 3. Complete Idi0t: He is just a complete idi0t in my view by trying to portray humility. Always serving food at parties, stopping at the road to control traffic etc. These are nonsense optics NOT a sign of leadership for a complex country like us with international responsibility for Sub-Saharan Africa. How would you feel if your President is Kowtowing to other world leaders or serving them drinks at events? Or you think he won't do that? LOL! All these in my view makes his dream a cancer to our society - it must be nipped in the bud and never allowed to rear its ahead as it will lead us to disaster. Now that I have said these, can you tell me which of my grounds you fault and your reasons for that? |

| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by LegalWolf: 6:01am On Jan 22 |
Brendaniel:Is the question is not about Tinubu, or is it? |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by Brendaniel: 6:14am On Jan 22 |
LegalWolf:You brought Obi into the matter when Obi is not even the president and has nothing to do with governing, go back and read the topic of this page by the OP and see who the topic concerns, are you saying Tinubu is a useless president or is not responsible for anything happening in Nigeria? You already blamed Peter Obi's performance as president even when you have not experienced it and used that as a yardstick to hate on him and reject his presidency but you are currently experiencing Tinubu colossal failure as president but still support him and want him for a second term, does that look like what a normal person does? |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by LegalWolf: 8:40pm On Jan 22 |
Brendaniel:Quite a lot mumbling and tumbling of words with the least intellectual effect. Are you even on the right intellectual pedestal to reasonably and dispassionately analyse issues? Where did I blame 'Peter Obi's performance as President....'? That I consider Obi's dream a cancer does not mean I hate him in person - No! I do not remember ANYWHERE I mentioned Tinubu on this thread. Bar none. I might be wrong, but point it to me. My claim is very specific: Peter Obi's dream is a cancer to Nigeria and we must never allow his hope to rule this country to even rise. It will consume us all if no nipped in the bud at the earliest opportunity. Clear, specific and targeted allegation. And the reason for our chat is that you asked my why I believe Peter Obi's dream is a cancer. And I answered you with specific points. No mention of Tinubu or Atiku or RMK. Just Obi bashing. Any man endowed with functional intellect would disprove my allegations on why he thinks I am wrong, isn't it? So again, let's put Peter Obi in the witness box and tell us why he's dream will benefit us if you think he is worth it. |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by Brendaniel: 9:31pm On Jan 22 |
LegalWolf:You are saying if Peter Obi becomes president it will consume Nigeria, I mean you are already judging him when he hasn't even become president but you are refusing to judge the one who is currently president who is destroying the country and yet still throwing support for him to continue. If I call u a mad man now, you will say I am insulting you ... |
| Re: World Bank Raises Nigeria’s 2026 Economic Growth Rate Projection To 4.4% by LegalWolf: 10:12pm On Jan 22 |
Brendaniel:LOL - at the end of the day, you cannot defend your Peter Obi. If he is not worthy of your defence, why should I even take this further? You say Tinubu is bad, and let's even agree that is true, what options do we have? If Peter Obi is the right option, why are you shitting in your pants to defend him? To tell us that his Presidency will bode well for Nigeria? |
