Our last born slept and wokeup and all of a sudden his left eye couldn't see again, my dad took him to the best optometrists we have in Nigeria (jos, maiduguri, kano) and even had to fly him to france but nothing could be done about it. All their results showed that my younger brother was fine and nothibg was wrong with his left eye. Untill an uncle of mine told my dad to bring my brother to him, in the space of 3weeks my brother started seeing normally.
In order to show appreciation, 3 of his children (my uncle) now works with the dss and the Nigeria navy..

Good day to every Nairalander out there. Hope each and every one of you is doing well today?

Today,indeed marks a day which we will never forget in my family. Exactly this day,last year we could have lost my immediate younger brother to an unknown illness that struck him from nowhere.

I was on the road, hustling for my daily 2k on that morning when I got a call from my father. On his end,I could feel all wasn't well with him because he was sounding so worried. I had to curiously asked him if everything was alright because I've never known my father,a retired soldier to be a weakling or the type who cries over whatever life throw at him.

"Na your younger brother dey sick. He dey hospital like this as me and you dey talk". He replied.

On hearing those words,I could feel still waters running down my spine. For sure,I may be everything but I'm not the type who jokes with my family and my close friends. And that's one fact that can't be taken away from my personality.

That was how I had to drop every single passenger that had already boarded my Keke and I headed straight up to the hospital where my brother was admitted into.

The doctor, being a family friend of ours did everything he could but all his efforts seemed abortive. He had no other option than to tell us to seek "spiritual means" as he claimed he had never came across this kind of illness all through the years of his medical practice.

Looking at my younger brother,a young man in his late 20's who has always been known for his liveliness and smartness, weeping and grasping for his last breath:I couldn't hold back my tear. Right there,I remembered a quote I was came across on TikTok --"Black men still cry"

While we kept waiting for my elder sister and my immediate brother to come around so that we could make our next move, different thoughts kept running on my mind,as I've never been a believer of "spirituality". As a matter of fact,I detest everything that has to do with prophecy being I've witnessed its first hand damages which most fake prophecies have brought upon once peaceful families. But this time around,I just had to believe and for once believe that God can definitely heal my brother.

Finally,my elder siblings came and we were set to move,and was accompanied by our uncle. The first church we got to, happened to be the same Church where my elder sister used to worship in. The prophet came out and the first thing that came out from his mouth was that it was my brother's ex girlfriend that had poisoned him.

Before now,my brother had always been complaining about how fetish his girlfriend was. And she was always fond to threatening my brother that she'd end her life should he break up with her. Not that my brother broke up with her because she was fetish but because she wasn't fateful and was dating multiple men. The argument that brought about the break up was when she traveled and returned back with 3 months pregnancy . The werey wanted to pin it on my brother but he refused. That was when she swore never to let any stone unturned

Finally,my brother got healed and he returned home in one peace. Since then,the young dude has sworn never to go into any serious relationship . We don talk,we don tire.

So Nairalanders,has anyone been on a similar situation before?

Things are happening in this life, every men's in this forum pray never marry any fetish lady as a girlfriend or a wife, my own case is a case study and let everyone stop saying it is a cook story , i have had a lot of experience so that's what i'll say

This happened to me twice as a young bachelor living in Ibadan & working in a multinational there ( around 2006 to 2009) . I was randy.
I'll just summarise
1. I dated a girl that I later discovered had a sugar daddy. No matter who I had sex with, the enjoyment won't be the same & I won't calm down until I sex her. I had to go see my mom (C&S) for prayers.
2. Later I dated another girl. In retrospect, I think while trying to secure her future with me (every lady knows if you're dating other ladies concurrently), she go do ìsé. Then I was experienced so I knew the signs. Na my friend's prophet rescue me. Then I stopped being randy & looked for a wife instead.

The worst I saw was when my neighbor tied a man that came from Holland to 9ja on holiday. He went to a joint & just wan chop my 40s neighbor with massive yansh. The 1st time I met the man, this guy was brilliant. Lives in Holland, does export to 9ja, etc. Months later, this man will be wimpering like a baby begging me to help him collect his passport from the woman say he wan return to Holland. Omo, man left his house to be living in this woman's room and parlour. The man wife & siblings came with police o. Hmmm, summary. My landlord then sent her packing.

I was once very sick and struggled to go to government hospital around 8pm. I could not find a doctor. The only doctor was ER and if you are not bleeding, they wouldn't even let you in.

So I went home to die on my bed. Woke up in the morning (my body has healed itself). Had it been I saw a doctor, he would given be drips and I would think the drip healed me.
