I saw the video and watched the video of the man mentioning his governor and his state directly and not Tinubu or FG cos the road most likely will not a FG road

Now what evidence do you have that FG DSS arrested him
See attached images for proof. So why did DSS arrest a man holding his state Governor accountable?

“I’m comfortable in the PDP,” Makinde said.
“Again, we may have issues in this country where a bipartisan approach is required. It shouldn’t be a situation where only the APC is talking or only the PDP is talking. We must look at what puts our best foot forward in the interest of our nation.”

He added that when national interest is at stake, cooperation across party lines becomes necessary.

“At that point, you need everybody on board,” he noted.

Between the 1960s and the 1980s, under the guise of "countering Communism," the CIA infiltrated Christian movements all over Africa and the Global South with the mission of steering Christian doctrines away from so-called "Liberation Theology" (teachings that encouraged people to stand up to corrupt governments and take collective action to better their lives), because this doctrine apparently was "Communist."

It funded and assisted the explosive growth of a whole new form of Christianity, which you recognise today as Prosperity Gospel, and it pumped millions of dollars into pushing it all over the Global South as part of its Cold War effort. This new doctrine ignored any kind of collectivism and encouraged people to see their Christian faith and salvation as individualistic issues that can be measured with specific individual outcomes, such as economic "blessing."

It was the perfect capitalist trojan horse because it convinced people to stop thinking of progress as a shared national issue and rather as an individual responsibility, which meant they did not need to organise into pressure groups, political movements, trade unions, student unions, or any other collectivist entities that the US government considered "Leftist" or "Communist." It succeeded wildly, and turned the world's poorest people in Sub Saharan Africa into rabid, money-obsessed capitalists without capital.

And in case you're wondering whether this means that all your mega pastors in Lagos and Abuja are US government-funded industry plants, the answer is simple: do a 1-minute Google search and find out where they all gained their theology degree or pastor training. There's your answer.

Anyway this is all on open record on the FOIA section of the CIA's own website, but the oyibos have convinced you that "Africans don't read," and you have internalised your own false stereotype, so you definitely won't read regardless. Your job is to enter my comment sections and drop laughing emojis because your forced laughter is your coping mechanism for dealing with how completely powerless and lost you are in a world you haven't begun to understand.

Anyway for the benefit of the 2 people who understand the value of reading and exervising their brains:

Wike aligned with APC first before Fubara, why do you think Wike has not formally decamped to APC? Th answer is the bold which both of you posted above and who do you think that staying in PDP benefits if not Tinubu?

So think about it, Wike is doing that type of heavy work for Tinubu basically occupying the biggest party that can challenge Tinubu and you think its that type of man Tinubu will turn his back against when going into an important election?

What can Fubara offer Tinubu that is as important as destabilizing the main opposition party ?
The truth is that PDP is a dump right now for everyone. Wike’s strangle hold on the party had weakened if anything.

Remember G5 and how they held the party captive during the last election cycle? Well, Makinde has since fallen out with Wike, while the likes of Ortom, Ikpeazu, and Ugwuanyi have since lost relevance and influence in the party or the affairs of their respective states.

Wike’s choice of leadership, the likes of Sam Anyanwu that did his dirty work have since been removed and replaced with members who align closely to Atiku than Wike if push comes to shove. What happened? This situation has been building for a while now.

Irrespective of what Wike decides, know that member of the ADC like Atiku still hold some structures in PDP and if he win the ADC nomination, it would be easy for PDP to collapse some of its structures for ADC and Wike can’t change that. Wike has Rivers State to worry about and that is why he has been wailing for a while now.

Sitting Governors, especially the recent signings who decamped are looking closely at this situation and Asiwaju knows this. There is absolutely no way a spokesperson from the presidency will make such statements without Asiwaju’s approval. The next election cycle is too close for Asiwaju not to calculate correctly.

Who do you think is coordinating that Wike hatchet job on PDP or who does it benefit for PDP to be a dump now?

Despite Atiku aligned chairman, they still have cases in court that has ensured that the party will remain useless for as long as Wike wants it

Once again PDP being destroyed favors one person the most, that is the person who is rewarding Wike for the hit job and keeping him close

One of the calculations Tinubu is making is to keep PDP in the current state. He will rather deal with a new ADC than a revamped PDP that has 6 governors, several senators and a household name in every village in Nigeria

In comparison to the last election cycle, keeping PDP in shambles benefits both ADC and APC right now. It is a free for all right now and as it stands, Atiku/ ADC have a better grip of the party than Wike who is struggling to have his men in top positions. With Atiku’s men holding sway, irrespective of the court orders, it would be easier for PDP to collapse its support and structures for ADC/ PDP than for Wike/ APC.

I’d be shocked if PDP even present a presidential candidate. Truthfully, this cycle is different. If Atiku and the rest were still in PDP then maybe. Keep in mind, 5 out of the 6 remaining PDP governors are all from the North (NE/NC/NW) with Makinde being the only Southerner. These 6 governors have fought Wike to reclaim control of the party and are all allies of Atiku.

PDP is looking like LP of the last election cycle. Wike’s control has dwindled significantly and that is what he is calculating. Further destroying the PDP doesn’t exactly do much because everyone is feeding on them now. Fubara joining APC has thrown a wrench and made things difficult. The likes of Fayose are Wike’s allies but they have lost relevance in the grand scheme of things, especially in the party.

Last year, I believe I said when the time comes, Asiwaju will make his position clearer on Rivers State post SOE and that is what we are seeing now.

I didn't even need to hear Tinubu speak, before I knew that no right thinking politician, will discard Fubara, for another person in another party.

Doesn't make sense

Tinubu should remove Fubara, so Wike will win Rivers with PDP. So, what exactly will be APC's gain there?

If Wike wants to rig Rivers for BAT in 2027, Fubara can do it as a governor in APC.

So what exactly is Wike offering, that will make the APC of Nigeria, discard a sitting governor of their party for him?
Even if Wike decamps to APC tonight, will he agree to be under Fubara who is registered as 001? The President has made it clear that the Governor leads the party in the State.

If he decamps to APC, he would definitely continue fighting Fubara, how does that benefit APC/ Asiwaju? It destabilizes and disrupts APC in Rivers State. Or would he be working against APC after he decamps? His continued stay in PDP is a tough one because playing both sides is biting him hard now.

You are not seeing anything. Bwala has never hidden his dislike and disgust for Wike. There are videos littered all over youtube for your perusal. He was never expected to say anything different.

What he expressed is his personal opinion of who he believes is the leader of APC in Rivers. Not an endorsement of Fubara by the FG.

Governor Ododo Accelerates Kogi Airport, Lokoja Market Projects, Engages Financial Institutions

The Kogi State Government has announced plans to issue a ₦50 billion Sukuk bond to finance the construction of a Kogi State International Airport and the Lokoja International Market, two projects described as transformational and critical to the state’s economic development.

Governor Ahmed Ododo disclosed this during a meeting with investors, representatives of the Nigerian capital market, fund managers, issuing houses, regulators and development finance institutions in Abuja.

Speaking through the Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Ashiru Idris, the governor said the decision to approach the capital market was driven by strategic ambition rather than fiscal distress.
“Permit me to be very specific on the purpose of the proposed ₦50 billion Sukuk bond. The bond is strictly asset-backed and dedicated to financing two transformational infrastructure projects of strategic economic importance to Kogi State—the development of the Kogi State International Airport and the completion of the Lokoja International Market,” he said.

Ododo explained that the proposed international airport is designed to unlock logistics efficiency, attract private investment, support agro-exports, facilitate business travel and position Kogi State as a natural hub linking Nigeria’s North, South, East and West.
He added that the Lokoja International Market, when completed, would serve as a major commercial nerve centre by formalising trade, boosting internally generated revenue, creating thousands of jobs and strengthening urban economic activity.
The governor stressed that the state operates under a 32-year development plan, which provides long-term direction, policy continuity and predictability in capital deployment, adding that the plan guides its budgeting, borrowing and project execution framework.
On the viability of the bond, Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fiscal discipline and governance reforms, noting that these efforts have received independent validation.
“Kogi State has been assigned a ‘B’ rating with a stable outlook by Fitch Ratings, reflecting improved financial management, a prudent debt posture and a strengthening capacity to meet debt service obligations,” he said.

He also noted that beyond internally generated revenue and federal allocations, Kogi State now benefits from 13 per cent derivation revenue as an oil-producing state.

Assuring investors, the governor said both projects are tangible, revenue-supporting assets fully aligned with Sukuk principles.
“The proceeds will not be applied to recurrent expenditure, but to infrastructure that expands productivity, stimulates commerce and strengthens the state’s long-term repayment capacity,” he said.
Also speaking, a member of the advisory team and Managing Director of AVA Capital Group, Kayode Fadahunsi, expressed confidence in the offer, describing it as a “textbook infrastructure Sukuk.”
“These are revenue-generating projects that can literally pay themselves down. This is not borrowing for consumption but for assets that will expand Kogi State’s internally generated revenue,” he said.

The Sukuk, structured as a senior unsecured Ijara Sukuk, will be issued at ₦1,000 per unit, with a programme size of ₦50 billion and a tenure of between five and seven years. Distribution will be through book-building to optimise rental rates, with a minimum subscription of ₦5 million.
