That animal is dangerous and could have attacked the hunters
It would be difficult not to kill that animal because there is no way the hunters could tame it before handing it over to any forest or wildlife preservation organization or zoo for safe keep.

Hope your personal lord obi don't eat bushmeat in Nigeria. The last time I checked a serving Senator from the United State of America lost his and his son's live in a plane crash because of the weight of a dead antelope that was to be use as food for his family.
