Thanks everyone for the response, which box do you recommend that can wirelessly connect to my Starlink mini without having to get the ethernet cable. We live in a bungalow so I doubt we would be needing a router. My Starlink won't come with the Ethernet cable but I thought Airtel would work so I thought of buying the cable.

Also, if it's a must that I have to use a router, must I get Starlink's Ethernet cable?

Meaning the Airtel box nor make sense be that , it's too rigid and poor spec. And the ram na even 2gig.
With less than 45k you will get a better android box on jumia. The one I bought 5years ago for less than 18k is Still working very well
Which android box do you recommend. Which one are you using currently. I also need one that can recieve internet through wifi

Apart from those Airtel customized box, every other box can be connected to the internet via WiFi. As simcard is to phone so is WiFi is to android box. the box am using is now an old model , cos I bought some years ago, but it still does all the basics things that is required of an android box. It's S96MAX

Whether you want to expand it wirelessly or via the Ethernet cable, you will need a router.
For wireless, a router that can connect to it wirelessly and expand. Some non-router devices can still be used. I recommend the archer c6 or c80 (costlier) using the WDS function. You can use those cheap wireless extenders too and may still serve you perfectly.
For the Ethernet own, compulsorily you'll get a router to transform the Ethernet cable into Wi-Fi, except you are plugging the cable straight into a home device for Internet consumption, then you won't need router

Thanks a lot. There is no "buy" button on the website and this exactly is not on Jumia... where can I buy this?
Buy on Aliexpress

Jumia don't sell these kind of boxes

Also order an airmouse remote along with it. Eg Wechip W3 airmouse remote

Thanks @georgee @ask4bk @ijeezlux really appreciate the input. We will go with the box you suggested on Aliexpress and then connect directly to the Starlink mini.

Hi everyone, please I need your advice/suggestions.

I ordered Starlink mini from the official website and was required to input my NIN to complete the registration before it can be shipped. Everytime I put in the required details (NIN and live picture), I get the feedback that my live picture does not match the details they have in their records. They also said I should take a picture in a place with good lighting and white background. I have taken numerous pictures in places with very good lighting and background, and none have been accepted. They have even temporarily barred me from attempting to upload any more images. I have downloaded the NIMC app to verify my NIN number, and everything looked fine there.

I'm so confused. What else can I do? I'm not in Nigeria at the moment but I know it's not supposed to affect anything. Or has anything changed with NIN recently? If anyone has experienced something similar, please share and let me know how you solved it.

Did you have any issues with your NIN verification? How did you take a suitable picture to upload there that they accepted? I have tried everything. They are not accepting. Please share the steps you did to verify your account before they shipped, thank you.

It was nothing special, I inputted the NIN and I turned on my lights (it was 6am) and took a selfie, that was all.

Has anyone been having issues with starlink today? It'll just disappear for a min and then return. It's happened a few times.

Service area is outside Abuja. I only put Abuja as delivery because i wanted to receive it at Abuja and then take it to the state it is set up for.

Since you last did your NIN has anyone poured you acid on your face to disfigure it and now your present face doesn't align with pics on record?

@utchayPro, just keep trying.
Try to remove all makeup before taking pics.
Or you put on the exact makeup you had when you did NIN

Hmmmm, you said you're not in the country, could this be IP address related?

I know it's highly unlikely but you never know.
