See...eeh I'm not an APC or Tinubu supporter but I openly support his policies. 2027 will be his easiest election. In 2023
His president worked against him.
His party worked against him.
The performance of then president worked against him.
Someone that has no performance record rode on the frustration of the youths and ordinary people.

In 2027 we will ask the opposition clear questions and they must tell us what they will do differently and not China, Egypt, Malaysia etc.

Will they bring back the multiple exchange rates and subsidize the naira?
Will they bring back fuel subsidy?
Will they cancel the tax reforms?
Will they cancel NELFUND?
Will they merge ministry of petroleum resources and gas resources as it was before?
Will they stop the efforts to upgrade our infrastructure because Obi said that provision of infrastructure doesn't grow an economy.
Etc etc.
They must never accept to use any of the products of the reforms because they condemned all.

Only when we look at their alternatives that we will agree to support them. The man that they want to unseat had his clear program from day one and he is pursuing it with a single mind even at the risk of his popularity.
I agree with your comparison of policies.

You're for sale sir, it's the terms and conditions that's holding you back.

AMINDA:
At this point, even Agbadorians can no longer deny that their tin-god is offering money to governors to decamp to their party. As well as the prospect of neutralising their opposition in the APC by becoming the automatic candidate. It may appear too good a deal to pass up on by the governors but it has its risks. There will be too many aggrieved politicians in the ruling party whose ambitions have been scuttled in favour of the president's own ambition. It may also not translate to votes for the president come 2027. Despite APC having 25 governors in 2023, Tinubu won only 12 states, and only half of those states were APC-governed states.
If truly Tinubu is offering money for Govs to defect, Gov Yusuf would have defected long before now. Tinubu wouldn't have asked the Gov to go and brief kwakwaso. Even kwakwaso would have defected long ago.

How much money would Tinubu have given niger Delta Govs to defect? Remember they have the highest allocation. How much? I know you're confused about the political Chess game but you don't have to be mischievous.

If you insist Sir. Meanwhile, Ajimobi's widow is declaring war on Makinde in Oyo state. Are we back to the days of do-or-die politics?

Good for you Sir. I hope after the many dances you actually stay true to this claim.

We don't hold our political leaders players to any standards at all, that's why they jump around every political season like mosquitoes.

Imagine a Republican becoming a Democrat and back to being Republican and then a Democrat then a Republican again within 4 election cycle.
U must be referring to Gringory Obi?
Re: Defection: ‘i’m Not For Sale’ – Kwankwaso by Focusmind: 11:53am On Jan 24
Everybody has a price tag. undecided

Tinubu hasn't been able to match the price tag Kwankwaso is carrying.

So, stop this lamba. Once the offer price is met, you will agree personal terms and proceed for medicals. As a senior politician, you may be excused from the medicals and integrated within the team immediately.

Is defection a crime?
And why is Tinubu dragging him to defect to APC
Defection a crime? Do you even read what I quoted and replied to? Anybody can drag anybody, in fact politics is actually a game of numbers and you get as much as possible to stay up in the game.
Re: Defection: ‘i’m Not For Sale’ – Kwankwaso by BlakKluKluxKlan(m): 11:57am On Jan 24
You are not for sale ?
How then do we explain your shuttling between Aso Rock and ADC for negotiations ?
Tell that to the marines.

Again, are you trying to insinuate that the governor, 21 state assembly members, 8 HoR members and 44 Lgovt chairmen of the party were bought ?

This man is in a confused state of mind.
You better swallow your pride and jump onboard before it's too late.

Unlike you, I don't call people who are better than me names... Just to avoid actually having an intelligent conversations about what matters most.
But you can insult them using cowardly parables, right?😂😂
Real men don't criticize others (their leaders esp) with parables, we talk directly to power and erring political officers without using the corners, don't be a coward my friend.

[quote author=Danisaint112 post=138241793]An implosion will happen in APC that will leave Tinubu and his supporters baffled.
2027 isn't going to be funny. No one will want to go to court.

If you have the money before then, buy enough foodstocks after election (voting) just lockup because there would be violence and many will meet their maker.

The violence you preach will happen in your family alone. Your candidate will loose and if you try nonsense na treason. Campaign to win no dey think of violence.

Supporting policies without owning the outcomes is a neat trick, but Nigerians don’t live in policy memos, we live in results.

You say 2027 will be easy, yet the same “clear program” has delivered historic inflation, a weaker naira, shrinking purchasing power, and more people sliding into poverty all by design, we’re told, so criticism is now framed as impatience.

Asking the opposition what they’ll reverse is fair. But the tougher question is this; how long should Nigerians suffer before these reforms start working, and who takes responsibility if they don’t?

Reform isn’t bravery just because it’s painful, it’s only credible if it improves lives within a reasonable time. Until then, calling hardship 'vision' and dissent 'ignorance' won’t win arguments… or votes.
Re: Defection: ‘i’m Not For Sale’ – Kwankwaso by InvestSmart(f): 1:32pm On Jan 24
Decamping or porting as you may is the second nature of all low repute Nigerian politicians... No ideology, no life philosophy or principles.. Just aligning interest is a paramount at any single time.
SIXTEENTH:
That's how the conversations started after some time now we'll hear different stories of one's decamping. As for me I don't trust any political holders

Tinibu believes he can buy anybody with his dirty money good to see politicians with dignity like Kwankwaso refusing to be bought like others with low self esteem.
It is not about buying literally as you take, it's about give and take. Kwankwaso will be biggest loser because is demanding too much with less he's bringing to the table.

Do you think Tinubu is"buying" those governors, while it might seems so, Tinubu is benefiting greatly from chaos in opposition party internal legal tussles from PDP, to NNPP and to even LP.

Most are looking for a sanctuary to seek their reelection first then come with other juicy largesse from federal. That's why the defections are just coming effortlessly. You and I can agree is not just about monetary perse.

But for Kwankwaso is eyes is on high level, VP ,APC structure in Kano and many more just because of Kano votes. Lol

Step by step reply:
1. Supporting policies without owning the outcome.
From inception I supported the policies and I had confidence that they will produce good results. What was my reason? The main driver is a tested hand and had tested team. When Yemi Cardoso was appointed I wrote it here that I know him at close quarters and he will not disappoint. If you are a good economist you will understand that it will take exceptional efforts to hold down inflation to what it is now when you devalue and remove subsidy at the same time. These are two policies that should take inflation over the roof.

2. Weaker naira, historic inflation etc.
What is historic in 15% inflation? The value of naira you had before were subsidized. It has no reflection of true performance of your economy. First you used oil money to subsidize. Later you started borrowing money to subsidize. You continued to sell oil upfront to subsidize. The worst of it was when we started printing money not backed by anything. The value of the naira that we have now fairly reflects the performance of the economy. Have you not noticed that the early wide movement has stopped? Arbitrage and reckless importation have been killed. What is your better prescription for the problem that we faced in 2023?

3 How long should Nigerians suffer before they start seeing the results?
Roll out all economic indicators that are used to judge an economy, place pre May 2023 and December 2025 side by side and answer the questions yourself. The issue is that Nigeria operates a federation. You can call it a flawed federation if you like. The center is responsible for macroeconomic policies and actions and the subnationals are responsible for microeconomic policies and actions. Presently the effects of the good results at macro are not fully reflected at the micro. This is the first time since the second Republic that we are having actions at the center that demands same actions at the subnationals. But the political parties don't have ideology so the subnationals are just doing anything that they like. APC for example ought have a party program and ideology such that all their states will be running them.

Your last points
In a country like Nigeria the average questions are: how much is price of dollar, bag of rice, litre of PMS etc even if it means having them cheap today only and in four years let it be difficult to have any and then they will start lambasting the man in authority without knowing that the problems have been brewing for years but cleverly dodged by previous people because they are hard decisions. Because of this mentality which is usually a tool in the hands of opposition the average Nigeria will never like a forward thinking government. What surprises me is that those that know pretend that they don't know because of politics.

I pity PBAT. He has chosen the unpopular and hard way which is actually the right way. History definitely will have a good place for him. In years to come his actions will receive positive reviews.

Mr Kwankwaso,
Stop 🛑 all this your divisive method of politics, for you have nothing to Offer Nigerians.
You were a Governor, yet nothing to show Nigerians in your Kano State,
You became a Minister of Defense, yet Bokoham Terrorists,Bandits and Kidnappers were everywhere during your time.
So,if you performed, why don't you destroy the Bokoham that are now even in your Kano environments?
It's disgusting seeing many of you Politicians that Could Not Make Any Impact when you Were In Government then,As FORMER' POLITICIAN!
not a supporter of any of these politifians but he did considerably well as a governor and his time at MOD was 2003-2007. Just to correct you

Kwankwanso should know that his political relevance is fast dimming. He should allied quickly or fade away. Too much noise from a man who win only 1 state in last general election
