Reasons Why Wike May Resign As Minister Of The FCT by nikky5(op): 5:32pm On Jan 23
It is high time the FCT minister resigns from the PBAT government before he is asked to step aside.

Wike believed that the President has betrayed his trust in the ongoing war between himself and Fubara. It is no longer news that Wike will eventually lost in this war. President Tinubu has Fubara on his side by supporting his overtures to the APC. This is something Wike termed "betrayer".

The fall of Wike will end his political dominance in Rivers State. It will Mark the beginning of a new dawn. Wike will never join the APC and the party will never Fubara to be disgraced out of office. Wike will fight against the APC in River State at its appointed time.
Re: Reasons Why Wike May Resign As Minister Of The FCT by 9jatriot(m): 5:42pm On Jan 23
You guys should stop praying for the fall of Wike.
Wike may feel a little hurt with the way things are turning out but he also understands that the president will not want to be drawn into his personal battles.
If push comes to shove, Tinubu will still choose Wike over Fubara. No one likes people who go into needless agreements and then renege when they get what they want.

what is so special about wike that will make the President choose him over a sitting governor, you people think politics is boyfriend and girlfriend where emotions and sentiment plays so much role right? Politics is timing, it is calculation, it is alignment. What will wike be able to do right now as a man without power, you think he can win any election in Rivers state right now? lol. children everywhere

If he doesn't resign, go and remove him yourself.
The man is not complaining, he's in a better position than other political post holders.

Mr. Adult!!!
Wike still have FCT to deliver, there is no way Fubara will deliver 50% of Rivers vote in the midst of Wike and Amechi.
Wike is more useful than Fubara politically.

You just described Tinubu. No one reneges on agreements more than him. The list have become too long to ignore but you can continue to bury your head in the sand. Banana dey spoil, Agbadorians talk say e dey ripe.
Re: Reasons Why Wike May Resign As Minister Of The FCT by 9jatriot(m): 9:05am On Jan 24
There is not one agreement that Tinubu is known not to have honoured. In fact, that is one of his major selling points.

Give a list since you say the list is long.

From where will he get the votes? Even if all the indigenes were to vote Tinubu, he wouldn't still win. Abuja is decided by non natives, and the largest voting bloc are the Igbo. If Obi is on the ballot, then there's no hope for tinubu. That's why you have a considerable number of igbos representing the fct in nass.

You expect BAT to line behind sim where Wike his,Wike his not just powerful in rivers .
Re: Reasons Why Wike May Resign As Minister Of The FCT by chrisxxx(m): 1:49pm On Jan 24
I have reasoned along this line this morning. Fubara can not renege on an agreement made before the president and still be the friend of the president. This is where the issues are. It is a game of dog eats dog.

He definitely won't reply you, because he doesn't have an answer. He has gone to another thread to throw another unguided lamba. I used to believe that the guy knew what he was writing here. Not until the Abbas–Tinubu–Kwankwaso saga. It is obviousthat he writes whatever comes to his head, without any critical analysis.

Stop making this naive comments pls.

Where do you expect a president to align with between a sitting governor and a minister? Wike is only as powerful as the president wants him to be, the governor is not so.,the governor has his own authority different from the president. Are you guys dumb or what.

I think your wike will be pushing his boys to contest under sdp right, let us see how many seat they will win. They won't smell one seat.

Most of you don't even know that the president is the reason Sim is just keeping wike quiet, if not, he would have been badly bruised to comma. You are joking with the power of a governor right, dey play
