This is now news, we all know he wasn't following the Governor to APC. He's the one Kwankwanso is pushing to replace Governor Yusuf and deny Gov Yusuf a second term. Just like the Deputy to the Governor of Bayelsa, like Datti Ahmed who didn't follow Gbajue to ADC. They all have the right to their decision.

Yes they all have right to decide which party to align with but decamping with the people's mandate to another political party is an irresponsible act. The deputy governors who didn't defect alongside their principals are astute and resolute and have made a principled decision. What Abba Yusuf and other governors who are in the same league with him have done is basically wrong and can't be justified. Abba Yusuf contested on the platform of NNPP and won because the people rejected APC and chose him to be their governor. His current marriage with APC a bride rejected by the Kano people in 2023 clearly sends a message to the electorate that they made a mistake to have voted for NNPP in the election that produced him Abba as the governor of the State and by extension imposing APC on the Kanawas ( the Kano people) because he feels he can manipulate the people's emotions in order to have his way.He is forcing the Kano people to accept APC which they vehemently rejected 3 years ago. This will not happen ( e no go work) as the Kanawas are wiser now and will vote wisely come 2027.
Abba Yusuf is alone on this his latest political sojourn.

It is very logical to move from party to party in Nigeria context.
LP with federal influence used the ‘chairman’ and some other people to frustrate Obi out of the party. He is proactive to have left early enough to allow him time to strategize.
Is Adeleke a prostitute? He was frustrated too out of PDP with the justice system in bed with the presidency to use ambiguous and conflicting court judgements to frustrate people. If this men do not move, they may not even be able to get the candidacy of the party or even get their mandates taken from them when courts rules that they were not nominated by the recognized factions
