If Spurs beat City, Arsenal fit lose. Don't bank on it. They have Guehi and that Khusanov.
We're playing Leeds at Elland road not a easy place to take 3 points but anything can happen. Honestly I don't think spuds can have any effect on this current city with more than half of their players out injured. I don't want us to be looking up to other teams to help us win the league, let's just try to be winning our matches one game at a time

While we are at it, can we talk about Zubi? Sometimes, like today, I don't blame him entirely even though he looked lost and overwhelmed out there. He couldn't figure out the spaces between him and United's midfielders. Countless times, they breezed past him and eliminated his positioning.

However, the same can be said of all our midfielders. For perspective, take a close look at Dorgu's and Cunha's goals! United's midfield play and passing just made our players look like cones as they weaved past us. They shrunk the midfield, put our midfielders in the middle of their passing box and just eased their way into scoring.

Compare that to our midfielders always wide away from each other. We are playing longer passes between each other, stretching the middle just so we can find width. Do you know why we are looking for width? Well, we have a higher chance of winning corner kicks when we do that. When we lose the ball, because our midfielders are soo far apart, United or any opponent are able to breeze past before our defenders even approach them.
Even if this was the truth(though i disagree to an extent), does that now justify the jeopardy option? Can't he choose the long ball options? I blame him baje cos it happened b2b2b now. Pls blame him wella. Arteta that likes him prefered to even remove him and leave the defense with no shield that continue to see such abysmal display.

What's sad is as it stands we no even get replacement for him. If he injures, and we don't change approach, L go increase.

Vieira don sha talk am finish. Let's see if these guys that want ALL OR NOTHING will take risks where necessary.

I understand you. This has always been my stance. Win your game and let others worry about theirs.
As for this season, it may have gone sha. But I like surprises and comeback stories.

Na from that Liverpool match I don let go. We will continue next season. But I sincerely wish Arteta can resign so we can have De Zerbi abi na that Michel Sanchez.
bro to be honest, I am not worried about who would replace Arteta should he be sacked. He already made the team better, any good coach can still take us far just like Liverpool did last season. It will be a shame if he leaves Arsenal without a trophy, especially this season cus wtf!!!.

This is all we have and guess what? Na assistant coach get all the corner kick tactics!

Our biggest threat is when we play corner kicks.

I don't care at this point, make e just win the league.

This is the time for plan B
Corner kicks isn't sustainable and speak well of a club looking to win titles
We need fresh tactics

I've never shyed away from blaming Gyokores, even for that last minute chance which ended as a foul. Pls blame Arteta now. Call out his blunders. Gyokores or no Gyokores, one constant remains-Arteta!!!

Abeg abeg abeg!!! Which manager will be this off the hook like Mikel? Throwing away 7points when it matters. GJ is back GJ is back but he's better off where he came from than even this stale Gyokores. We still play like we've got no pointman, relying heavily on setpieces.
We're playing like we have no pointman because the person who is supposed to be the pointman is flopping. Simple!

Everybody here calls out the coach when he messes up. He himself knew he was at fault today. He said it during the interview. But when you try to blame the coach for your man's ineffectiveness, what does that portray?

Anyway, be calm eh.. The league is coming.

If we don't have the personnel for a switch of plan now we for even dey go back and forth. But we have the personnel o. Why can't we even return to the 2022/23 mode of attack? That slick transition and lack of hesitation we now see this season.

All this is massaging the truth. The pointman is on pitch but he is made to be like he's not. THAT IS THE CRUX not him missing scrappy chances. My conscience is clear. Whether he's my fave or not, he still colet his own blame. But I'm yet to see you highlight some of what he should be held accountable for.

League coming or not doesn't mean we should be wuiet every time. That's too convenient.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkforyou(m): 9:09pm On Jan 25
All through this season, this is the defeat I felt the most.

Arteta needs to find a solution to our creativity problem and it starts with him not suffocating our most creative players with defensive mindset.

His desire to always keep things controlled and safe is now affecting the team.

Most of our players are no longer free and expressive as they used to be because we have a coach that is so defensive minded.

This has made us too risk averse and clueless most of the times. Na why e Dey be like say we Dey depend only on set pieces.

Kudos to Saliba, he is the only one noticing our faults in the team and maybe Rice.

We are not ruthless enough and he has mentioned it in sometime ago.

We aren’t serious about winning titles until we stop respecting the so called top 6.

The bulk of it lies with the manager. If he can’t see it and is not willing to change, then he should Fvck off and let someone with more balls take over.

As regards my Odegaard agenda, I used to admire him a lot but now is the right time to collect the arm band and give it to Rice or Gabriel. Baba is washed up, and has not spine. Someone should tell me one game apart from that Olympiakos game where Odegaard stood up and grab the game by the neck.

Again, it still boils down to the manager. Baba doesn’t know how to manage players that are technically independent and expressive. It’s one of the reasons I no like as Ethan go loan.

Omo! Ethan na baller, he just needs a proper mentor and manager.

let me tell you fact bro. I believe when you're not scoring, you should be contributing in one way or the other. Gyokeres is not scoring yet he is just there fighting defenders and making no impact.

What I expect of him is to at least hold up the ball and bring others into play. His first touch is bad. A big guy like Gyokeres dey lose duel to Martinez (no disrespect to Martinez here). The little chances he got what did he do with them? Ffs, foul or not, he had two free teammates aside the fact it's a sitter yet he decided to kick the ball to Mars. He need to do more. There are games that are decided without tactics and that's when you expect your players to do something extraordinary.

Una go come here dey yarn say dem no dey play for him. Gabriel Jesus scored two few days back but because he had a bad day today, dem don dey call am out. Havertz was not this bad but una wan eat the guy raw.

I’ll fault Zubi for the first two goals utd scored, he didn’t scan his environment before making that erroneous back pass and for the second, instead of tackling Bruno, he was raising his hand for handball, why not make a tackle then leave referee to do his job?

And this is not the first time he’s made that kind of error leading to goal, he needs to buckle up Abeg, no time for silly errors

Well, maybe it's time to revert to the false 9 stuff. Since Gyokeres and Odegaard came back, and Eze and Merino got benched, we have been struggling to score. This might be the time to go back to basics. Let's revert to the lineup that got us here.

Sincere thanks to Arteta for bringing on Madueke to the RW and switching Saka to the LW, thereby killing both Arsenal wings. When i saw that move i shed tears of joy.
