The Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link Bridge is a strategic 3.89km infrastructure project in Lagos, Nigeria, designed by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC to connect Opebi, Mende, Maryland, and Ojota, aiming to alleviate chronic traffic congestion on Kudirat Abiola and Mobolaji Bank Anthony roads. Nearing completion in 2025, it features a dual-lane road with pedestrian walkways, streetlights, and a canal system to mitigate flooding.

Key Features and Impact:

Location: Connects Opebi, Mende, and Maryland directly to Ikorodu Road.

Traffic Relief: The bridge provides an alternative route, significantly reducing travel time between Ikeja, Maryland, and Ojota.

Infrastructure: The project includes asphalted roads, road markings, signage, streetlights, and a dedicated pedestrian walkway.

Flood Management: A critical component of the construction involves linking Odo Iya Alaro with a new canal system to manage stormwater.

Construction: The project is managed by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, with work focusing on high-quality, durable, and sustainable construction.

Completion: The project is in its final stages, nearing full operational status to serve commuters in the area.
This project is a key part of the Lagos State government’s urban regeneration strategy to improve

Good they extend the road to Medina Estate area in Gbagada around UPS. This will help people coming from Island/Oworo too to link Awuse Estate/Opebi Road, without going through Anthony/Ikorodu Road.

It will redistribute traffic around that Anthony Oke and free up traffic towards Oshodi-Oke.

That's highly impressive of the Lagos State Government of Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his team.

This infrastructure is a game changer within the Maryland-Opebi axis of Ikeja as it's expected to reduce the traffic jams. There would be faster movements from the hotels to the airports of MMA2 or MMIA when traveling domestically and/or internationally.

This is like the 6th year of this bridge and they are still not done with it.

Sanwolu had sworn that Fourth Mainland Bridge will be commissioned before 2027.

While Alex Otti is delivering several kilometers of road under 1 year, Lagos is busy doing “the more you look the less you see”, and lowlifes are clapping at them.

"While Alex Otti is delivering several kilometers of road under 1 year"

The several kilometers road 👇 🤣🤣🤣🤣

They were so big and significant that Tinubu said they are too big for him to commission alone. He had to invite Donald Trump to witness the monumental development 🤣🤣🤣

> FG shares update of the superhighways construction
> Them: In this century, our government is still celebrating roads. Nawa oooo

> LASG shares update of bridge construction
> Them: Alex Otti is doing better. He constructed several kilometers of street roads

😂😂😂 Funny, bitter, headless lots.

That road is bigger than all of Otti's projects since he became Abia Governor.

The lengths of 12 out of 14 roads commissioned by Otti in Aba are:

1. Umuode Road: 1.5 km
2. Bakassi Road: 0.6km
3. Isu Ihiteukwa Street: 0.3 km
4. Asa Triangle Road: 0.5km
5. Enyimba Junction – Ariaria Gate: 0.3 km
6. Market Road: 0.744 km
7. Tenant Road: 0.740 km
8. Cameroun Road: 0.711 km
9. Ehi Road: 0.5 km
10. Clifford Road: 0.836 km
11. School Road: 0.729 km
12. Afikpo Road: 0.480 km

Total is 7.94km not up to 10km

Otti went to commission a 300 metres road and carried his 2 children grin

This work is taking forever

I just love Ambode
Under 4yrs, he did Oshodi, pen cinema, alagbado, ipaja, abulegba, Epe, all the BRT lanes, etc
Samwo olu is taking almost 8yrs to fix just one.

Ambode is the only person I can vote in APC.
He transformed Lagos under 4yrs.
He should be named best governor in SW since 1999.
What Ambode achieved in 4yrs, give the okpolo eye drug sniffing criminal 40yrs, he won't achieve half.
His own is to take other people's glory without pointing to one single thing he did himself.
God save Nigeria from enemies like him
