IPOB terrorists don't usually vote in Nigerian elections so they are no threat to Soludo or APGA. Main market remains shut for the next week and Soludo has even vowed to demolish the market completely if need be. |

Mirasteel:Don’t mind the cowards. Why did they not chant such songs when they were oppressed with the obnoxious sit at home? There definitely were too many traders who were against the sit at home order. The bloody cowards among them, who were moles, ensured that it was in effect. Meanwhile their leadership behind the back must has started reaching out to the Governor. Certainly after this, they will all sit up. By the way, most of the enforcers are not from Anambra state. You can check and confirm. They invaded Anambra state from other SE states and others, ensuring peace in the pan states, while destroying the economy of Anambra state. Now they will all learn their lessons the hard way. |

Soludo wont have been bold enough to close the market before the gov election without facing some repercussions. He also has to understand that such matters need to be addressed delicately. No trader would deliberately want to stay at home and not run his shop any day, except Sundays. That said, Mondays are now conventionally seen as the last day of the weekend. No fault of the traders. The govt allowed the sit at home vacuum to stretch longer than it should. Apart from Awka and its environs, most parts of the state are largely inactive on Mondays. This is due to fear of insecurity as well as the convention that Mondays are now meant for village and family meetings, rather than the first working day of the week, and not necessarily as support for Nnamdi Kanu and Ipob. |

The police stationed at the market should be vigilant and do not hesitate to shoot any terrorist among them. |

WhizdomXX:This one is concerned about normalcy returning to a market. He didn't remember anything about normalcy returning to a market when bandits slaughtered 40 people in a Market in Niger State two weeks ago These "I love one Nigeria but only remember Nigeria if its problems in the South-East" people really think they are fooling anyone? ![]() |

WhizdomXX:First of all voted for massively is an understatement. Soludo is still there bcus of that party named APGA an obeyance to Ojukwu who created it. And don't also rule out massive rigging. . If Soludo thinks he's man of his words and not a coward as I think he's. Why didn't he show this seriousness about the sit at home before his second term re-election. Why wait till now? Lastly! I'm not in support of IPOB or their senseless sit at home, just bringing in logic here |

gidgiddy:Trump is dealing with those terrorists gradually. Whatever happens in the east affects us in Delta North, more than Niger State. Lol it's a shame you think like this, have a nice day. |

How do you free a prisoner that doesn't want to be free? And worse still, how do you free a prisoner that doesn't even know he's in prison? I pity for Governor Soludo, he has a lot of work to do on liberating his people from the captivity of negativity. |

mrvitalis:And you are not aware of government’s presence in that market? You are not aware that banks are present there? Or you think that the market belongs to traders only? You do not know that there are residents inside the market too? Do you not know that people from other states carry out their businesses there too? Enough of losses to the government of Anambra state. Do not sit and make comments from far off. Get more information. |

WhizdomXX:So how does affect the governor? If the governor is sincere why can he address the issue from the root rather than putting the lives of innocent people at risk. The governor only care about what he is going to make from the market not the life of the people. That man is not sensible enough. Let him send his kids to go and open the market. Period |

I it that soludo has fallen into a big trap It's far bigger than soludo. Let's watch and see how it plays out. |

Kalulu44:Thank GOD you're not in support of the senseless situation at home, then we can relate. Concerning the politics, I think the Market people had power in their hands, before the election, they saw the romance of soludo with Tinubu, Dike Simba and all, and his posturing towards their saviours release. They had the power to make their voices heard, they didn't. APGA swept threw Onitsha in the Governorship polls, whether they boycotted the election or not, who knows/cares. And don't blame it on Ojukwu and APGA because these men didn't vote APGA in 2023. |

Why did Soludo do this in his 1st tenure..he has now successfully secured his 2nd tenure. Now misbehaving and treating the people badly |
