€1 million is a small price for them to pay to recover their operational credibility and potentially deter future attacks if they can actually catch the culprits. The cost of the blackout to their economy likely dwarfs that reward.

Nigerias issue is multifaceted.

First, electricity is subsidised. Because electricity is subsidised, there underinvestment by the Discos. Only Band A pays a cost reflective tariffs.

Secondly, transmission, the part which take the electricity from the Gencos to the Discos, does not have enough capacity to carry all the load

Let's say the country produces 8,000mw of power but the transmission can only carry 6,000mw.

Tinubu's gocernment is working hard to increase the capacity. Rumour has it that Tinubu is targeting 24hr power supply this year.
We aren't zombies like you guys to believe this nonsensical lies.

And the man is just wasting away in Sokoto prison for nothing.
The Nigerian government should dash me the monkey so that I can trade him to the German government and claim the money.
I can use the money to make sure I bribe Soludo to reopen the Onitcha market and then end the sit-at-home order

A far left group is not an islamist group. They are more likely to be Marxist or atheist in orientation

Apart from the fact that tinubu is fixing power, which is not true, everything that the guy you quoted said is the truth.

Just to compare, the reason why you don't buy telecom mast for your gsm company is because Obasanjo allowed them to charge cost reflective tarrifs and refused to put them on subsides.

Your power sector has none of that. Tinubu is even sabotaging it further by subsides not being paid, by government agencies not paying and by the idea of subsidized prices. Add the fact that most Nigerians do not pay a cost reflective tarrif for the power they use, that is why the sector is bad

Before you abuse me, my eyes were opened to the problem under GEJ s regime, when I was trying to understand why he was unbundling the sector into discos and gencos. I have nothing to do with apc or pdp or even obi. My own is why we have some problems.

How will they loot such amount of money they are looting if they do the right thing? I am only telling you they know the solution but they will not fix it because of their selfish interest

This is what Trump is fighting...but European leaders are against him
Charles Martel, Don Juan, King Philip ii, Pope Gregory, King Sorbiesvsky of Poland, Ivan the terrible, all the European generals from the battle of Lepanto, the crusaders and all the European ancestors that fought for their continent will all be turning in their graves if they see what their descendants have foolishly (political correctness) turned what they fought for for millinium into wretch and tatters
