North East Accounts for highest number and no doubt its true. In fact the figure presented above is far more than what's real.
Now let me tell u...only d number of suicide bombers accounts for more than that figure.

Your post here is totally pointless with your attempt to link the 11-years suicide rate figures (2010 to 2021) along ethnic lines with reference to the SW despite the FACT that the North East of Nigeria has the highest numbers.

In that same SW of Nigeria, ethnic groups represented from nearly over 300 distinct Nigerian ethnic groups (besides the indigenous Yorubas) live in the SW including your fellow South East people.

Now, for the usual younger SE simpletons spreading hate speech and posting FALSELY here that the great Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo, GCFR, SAN, commited suicide, that's an IRRESPONSIBLE claim as I was alive in 1987 when he passed on peacefully and NO such thing ever took place.

You will all reap the consequences of your deliberate spread of massive online disinformation, hate speech and more. Period.

this is well represented. South east has the lowest population 20M while North and Lagos has the highest population. Lagos alone is 19M and 44 for southwest. We have also read news where some dude that took their lives in Lagos bears Southeast , south south and Northern names.

This stat isn’t correct , only my estate here in Umuahia, Abia state recorded 4 suicides in just 2024/2025, how much more the entire south east is just 24 and since 2010 ooo , hmmmm

One thing you failed to understand about numbers recorded is that the 24 people recorded cases in your region might be probably be Igbos alone while those people recorded in Southwest might not be only Yorubas due to large presence of other tribes.
