Thank God that Akpabio has seen the misery Nigerians are faced with.
A nation where the ordinary citizens are left to suffer is a nation of wicked leaders
May have travelled home for the Yuletide and was invaded by hordes of hungry peons. Long way away from his cocoon of opulence in Abuja.

One of nigeria senator said on a TV station that Nigerians are complaining that cost of food is very low. I laff in Greece 🇬🇷, most fathers in this 10th assembly aren't seriously serious.

AlphaTaikun:
Lagos State has been very slow in launching the Central Epe Agro Food Hub which the FIRST EVER female Lagos State Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Systems said would be ready by May 2025 with the launch of Phase 1 of that project with the aim of crashing the price of food in Lagos State to 50% of the current prices by cutting off the greedy middle men who like to hoard food items to create artificial scarcity. Already, Lagos State has launched 150 CNG-fueled 40 ft haulage trucks for that project as of late 2025.

The key to winning re-election for APC at all levels is to crash the cost of living for these folks on the street level. They have to have a sense of urgency and that's how they can easily win elections WITHOUT any rigging or accusations from any opposition parties. Period.
There is NO sustainable alternative to a well run economy. And economy that aggressively lowers testosterone inflation and expands monetary supply via productivity.

All.these schemes are just political tools to capturing hearts and minds. They cannot last because th economics underpinning them are just not sound.

Citizens should INSIST that the government lowers inflation with a target of single digits within the tenure if the administration and this can only happen if government redirects and optimizes it's spending towards factors that inflate the economy.

Calling for national action by the nation's no 3,is 2026 layer of confusion, and from sabbatical senators with awful and shock filled debates with co debators speaking with double standards.

Forget election time thing. Akpabio is one man that is well respected in his constituency.
His second term is intact.

He doesn't need to campaign much to win the election in his constituency.

The only thing that can affect him is his senate president seat.
He mustn't necessarily be campaigning for himself, you know?

He can use be using such emotional strategic statements to campaign for his party in general

When some voters who cannot clearly think for themselves hear such statements, they'll be like, at least, the man is being truthful...

But that's bullshit_

Oga, don't you buy food to eat. Didn't you notice the sudden crash in price of goods and for the first time in years instead of rice and commodities to go up, it can down instead. Man is talking about the 35m that are predicted to remain in poverty and you are saying another thing. You self, talk , was food cheap during the December/early January. My wife bought a whole basket 🧺 of tomatoes 7k and if you see 5k pepper and other foodstuffs, you will know foodstuffs prices came down drastically

Re: Akpabio Laments Soaring Food Prices, Urges Urgent National Action by bandad: 12:19pm On Jan 28
This dude is not in tune with the current realities on ground as per prices of food items in Nigeria. Fallen prices resulting in farmers incurring heavy losses vis s vis p high prices of farm inputs.
