Hello guys, good evening, please am completely new to this Australian process, is there any telegram group available I can be added to for the Australian study pathway I would really appreciate. Well, presently I am a first year master's student in Finland, but I hope to continue my PhD in Australia through scholarship, I want to get acquainted with the process so I understand what am doing, what are the things I should know especially when it comes to getting a fully funded scholarship. Thanks a lot |

Hello everyone, I’m making enquiries on behalf of my brother (20 years in 2026). He’s currently in his final year studying Computer Science at Igbenedion University (Nigeria) He plans to go for his masters in Australia. Does anyone have any advice on the schools? Or programs in high demand or any advice in general |

ItsSmile:Program choice should be guided primarily by his long-term career plans and post-study intentions. He should first look at the different career pathways available to computer science graduates in Australia and compare them with current and projected PR occupation lists. From there, he can align his study plan strategically. At 20, he has time on his side and can thrive in many tech career paths. That said, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence are currently strong market directions in Australia, but they are not the only viable options. Software engineering, data science, cloud computing, and IT business analysis are also in demand. For visa and PR success, it’s important that his master’s program shows logical academic progression from his bachelor’s degree and is supported by a clear career motivation and foundational experience. Immigration officers look closely at whether the course makes sense for his background and future goals. In short, he should decide what matters most to him: Career outcome University ranking Visa strength PR pathway Then reverse-engineer his choice from there. If he plans carefully, Australia is a very good option for Computer Science graduates. |

Jboy121:From personal observation, partner visas tend to have much longer processing timeframes. However, for student visas, there appears to be more leniency in approvals since the recent post-election period. Immigration policy is often used as a political tool and usually becomes a major focus during election cycles, which can directly affect visa grant rates. That said, judging by recent trends, the current government seems more favourable toward immigration compared to the opposition. The key is to maintain a positive mindset, ensure your documentation is solid, and make sure all requirements are properly met — cross all your T’s and dot your I’s. |

Good day, everyone I'm so distressed right now, and any clarity I could get will go a long way. My profile Education: Bsc Physiology(Second Class upper) Age: Currently 25, turning 26 in a few months. Financial capacity in view: let's say about 25 million naira, I can work for more, God willing. I want to consider the study pathway to Australia. I've made a series of research, and I think I'm going insane at this point🥲🥹 1. I want an affordable university where I can study an allied health program(this decision is for long term purpose), good course recommendations will be highly appreciated 🙏 I researched on Occupational Therapy, and speech pathology, and they seem to be a really competitive course. I'm not sure of the prospects. Psychotherapy has. 2. I don't have families that are well to do for them to stand as my sponsor as I myself do not have 75 million naira(I saw in this thread) in my account to show as proof of funds, but my dad's childhood friend has offered to stand in as my sponsor, but how do I proof relationship?🥲 3. I think I want to study at a regional university to help me claim points during the PR application, which universities can you people please recommend?(I know that this answer is vague, I'm in so much distress🥹) 4. Does anyone think my 25 million naira budget can pay my tuition deposit +OSHC+Visa fee+bio metric+medicals? I can look around for the travel expenses if my visa gets approved, I pray so. I don't even know what I'm asking anymore😔 I should note that I tried applying for studies in Europe last year but got refused, its not a rejection as my school deferred my admission until this year September, so the immigration deemed it as incomplete application, closed it temporarily to continue when I apply for this intake, I do not plan on reapplying as I can not provide internship documents as the reason my application was not considered. There's no visa rejection in my history. Please, just advise me as your own and direct me 🙏🙏 |

AussieJoan:This does not apply to Research Studies or PhD. It only applies to Master by Course work or Bsc for above 35years upon completion of studies. |

1st congrats for having that mindset and eagerness to give it a go. Allied health is a very good course option to pursue. OT and Speech therapists are sort after in Australia. Studying in a regional area will definitely boost your chances of PR. 25M should be fine for tuition for a trimester, medicals, OSHC. You should aim to get scholarship. My brother got scholarship that dropped his tuition from $17K to $12K. Your dad's friend as a sponsor? While I am not 100% sure, I believe there should be a way around it. I wish you all the best. Going through the thread, It was said that one can not apply for schools in Australia without an agent, please how can one get the contact of an agent to start with? Some are saying IELTS is compulsory, some are saying one can get letter from one’s school stating the mod. Of teaching was in English as a substitute for IELTS, please help me clarify on this sir/ma |
| Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Faboosuarez(m): 12:17pm On Jan 28 |
Ayfat:Test of English is mandatory for almost all schools in Australia and it depends on the level of the school tho whether level one or two or three. Some schools applications can be done without the use of an agent while others, yu cannot skip that step. Yu can Holla me tho so I can put u through more. Thank you |
