Na wa ooo

In 2026,an oil producing country is suffering for lack of petrol

APC will perish.
It will take a lot of work to unite the opposition politicians for APC to perish with their extreme poverty palliative sharing progreThief policies.

If we don't work to unite the opposition, we can't return to the deregulation and privatisation policies of PDP politicians that gave us 16 years of prosperity,

Otherwise, Tinubu will continue his balablu cluelessness, despite having less votes than the opppsoition combined like in 2023.

Price of fuel is not supposed to be static. It goes up and down. That's why you have around the world.

It is dictated by many factors including cost of global oil and other factors.
Balablu propaganda defence by Stockholm syndrome sufferers who are suddenly patriotic unlike before 2015.

Were the many factors absent when we had PDP deregulation and privatisation prosperity huh

By how much are 200 million Nigerians forced to subsidise the massive corruption in APC's oil sector since 2015?

Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC

January 19, 2015

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.

On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.

But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.

It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.

Dangote sells to MRS. Dangote has said there is going to be an increased in its pump price soon I don't know if that has been effected. Gone are the days when fuel stations sells at a uniform price across the country. Now fuel stations can alter their prices and nobody dare question then. This communist system of operation isn't helping the common nigerians.

Buhari’ll reduce petrol to N40/L —David-West

FORMER Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Prof. Tamunoemi David-West, said that Nigerians should expect sharp drop in petrol price from the current N87 to about N40 per litre, saying, “the president-elect, Gen. Mohammed Buhari, will reduce the fuel pump price to N40 per litre.”

NNPC is A Big Fraud 🤥
They have never given NIGERIANS anything, since they were Created,
•No Refinery - despite of all humongous money 🤑 spent by Various Management In Repairs but till today,is not Fixed.
•Is it because Dangote Just Increased his Own Fuel Prices,so Automatically, NNPC that supposed to be for the Public, also increase their Own Prices, when you have never Produced For the Public?
•For Dangote Refinery:
- Why did you too, Suddenly I creases Your Prices at the detriment of the Masses - who have been at your back?
• This is one of the Problems of the Monopoly,in which you are One,for if Nigeria have Other Refineries, you cannot Unilaterally Increases your own Price at Will.
-I wouldn't blame you but I blame the Federal Government and the Very Corrupt and Incompetent NNPC and their Subsidiaries .
These NNPC and Other Govt- Agencies Should Be Disbanded - for they are not adding anything to the Nigerian Economy.

On January 28, the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) said with sustained competition, the prices of petrol, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will keep decreasing across the country.

Saidu Mohammed, the NMDPRA’s chief executive officer (CEO), said Nigerians are steadily moving toward more affordable energy, as improved supply continues to support price stability.

“Sustained competition, rather than subsidies, will guarantee adequate supply of petrol and gas at affordable prices for Nigerians,” he said.

Mohammed explained that the removal of the petrol subsidy has enabled market forces to operate effectively, enhancing efficiency throughout the downstream sector.

Is he talking about sustained competition from NNPC refineries that have been working since late 2015, with the one in PH exporting fuel since December 2024?

It's good to see the impact of 2016 susbisdy removal finally coming through in greater competition after a decade.

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has disclosed that the federal government has so far saved the sum of N1.4 trillion for not paying oil subsidy.

He also assured Nigerians that very soon, the foreign exchange market would stabilise going by some radical policies already introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The vice president who spoke in Kano yesterday during the third day of the 15th Joint Planning Board and National Council on Development meeting, urged Nigerians to restore confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, insisting that soonest, the current economic problems would become a thing of the past.

“With the deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector, there has been a significant increase in the availability of petrol throughout the country for the savings of N1.4 trillion on subsidy payments alone,” he said.

“Also, a more flexible exchange rate regime, we will have to decrease the pressure on the external reserve. In the short run of course, there should be consequences for inflation. We expect that with greater priority we have seen in the implementation of the policy by the CBN, the foreign exchange market will stabilise and confidence will be restored.

Was that why your balablu idol promised to crash petrol price in January 2023 but has hiked it since he was allowed into Aso Rock?

Deltafirstson:
Although the pump price of fuel was N197 when President Bola Tinubu took over on May 29, 2023, the product now sells for N617 per litre – less than two months after.

In his inaugural address, Tinubu announced that subsidy was gone, fulfilling a promise that all leading presidential candidates made during the campaign.

Nigerians have been lamenting the hardship occasioned by fuel price hike. Amid the lamentation, a video where Tinubu campaigned to slash the price of fuel went into circulation.

Checks by Daily Trust affirmed the authenticity of the video uploaded on the YouTube page of Channels Television.

At his campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, Tinubu spoke on a number of issues, but those of fuel scarcity and naira redesign made the headlines.

However, Tinubu who spoke in Yoruba language, also assured the crowd that though people were saying petrol price would hit N200, it would be reviewed downward under him.

“The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel price will increase and reach N200 per litre. Go and relax, we will bring it down,” he had said in the 7th minute of the video.

It is Not A Communist System but a DEEP THROAT Monopolistic System, because the NNPC AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES THAT OUGHT TO CHECKMATE THE PRIVATE SECTOR REFINERY,LIKE THAT OF DANGOTE-
•ARE NOT FUNCTIONING,
yet they ( NNPC) and their Staff ⚕️ Collect Salaries and Allowances - For Doing Nothing!
The Federal Government too, appears helpless in this Situation,
For the Govt Own Refinery - is Represented By the NNPC,yet they have the Audacity to Also Increase their Own Price as well, just to follow Dangote.
What Is Going On ?
Does it means that the Rise in Petrol Prices does Not Concern the Federal Government ?Otherwise, they would have shown Concerns.
-Alas, Subsidies have been removed,
-And Alas, Taxes Are Being Charged by govt, yet they Cannot Produce or Provide Employment For Our Youths but are always ready to take More from the Masses.
