tobby98:How sure are you with this information cox I know dangote delivers fuel directly to all MRS filling station across the nation and for the Mobil, I doubt if any Mobil both the one outside and inside can sell fake oil cox they get supplied directly from HQ and I don't think Mobil sell franchise without regulating their operations. |

capetownboyz:Always central lock your car first thing first, if confused of where to follow, you can ask passersby, don't ever park or pick people on the road especially in unfamiliar places. Obey traffic rules, one way is a serious traffic offense in Lagos now. Just go at your own pace, no rush, weekend would be more better for you sha. Good luck! |

Shimmaa:Yes that is meant to be the framework but that is not the case with many MRS stations, the aspect of Dangote supplying them is not yet fully implemented, I was at one MRS station on the mainland and the tanker that came to deposit fuel for them didn't have any insignia of Dangote group. It is not even in the quality this time as most of them do get directly from. Dangote( save for those who still mix it) it is about the compromise on the meter system |

capetownboyz:Not the best period, though. But for a start, do weekends only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for now. Sample those days for like three weeks and once you feel you're blending and your strength and confidence improved , you can increase your working days, but for now, only weekend is advisable. Reason is because, prices on all the apps (Uber, Indrive, bolt) are very poor at the moment - dry season for e-hailing. Lastly, do not go beyond lekki phase 1. Much respect, boss. |

Gbengais:Werey na make your weekly money complete be the Koko ! Wether driver gambles or not is non of your business. If you try to use gambling as parameters to measure drivers performance you are bound to fail woefully in this Uber business . A Honest, reliable hardworking and responsible driver is what you ask God to give you in this industry. Good people are scarce . Na Bad drivers full every where, they will chop you and wreck your car and move on to the next victim |

Shimmaa:If you dey use original Mobil 1 USA , the oil no supposed black that fast. Unless the engine has a sludge problem.... When using high mileage engine oil , it also cleans out the engine, due to the extra cleaning additives. After a few try it should be back to normal... |

capetownboyz:Boss, learn to buy fuel right, get fuel only at confirmed stations (mrs ahmodu, Mobil Agidingbi, Total Gbagada etc. Avoid these locations, Alakija, Amuwo Odofin Orile Iganmu, Ojo Mile2/Apapa Amukoko, Bagadry Oko Agbon Igbo Elerin Okokomaiko Ifelodun Ajeromi Shigbiri Oko afo etc.If you miss road or bridge, you will certainly find your way out, no matter what. Lagos route is very interesting. Facing traffic, burning fuel or losing few bucks is better than been at the mercy of the vampire law enforcers, no revers on highway oo, no mind riders advising you to quickly use one way. Any issue with police, always sort it on the road, no drive go their den. Don't do offline deliveries. Don't go inside any warehouse or store to collect delivery on behalf of rider, or using code on their behalf. Na smartness and luck, especially this period, no be hardwok. Is not about number of trip you did daily, is about number of goodfair trip you did. Becareful of one way, especially around Shomolu, if you are sensitive, something will tell you, you are entering a one way, study the road and car positions. For this period, stay with bolt and Uber, no go drag ride with Glithronix and co oo, you won't get any trip. Minimum fare for this "period" should be 350/400 per km. Divide trip gross by km to have 'idea' because traffic time should also be considered. ALWAYS PARK AT SAFE PLACE... if you need to drive 3km to find safe place, do. Yaba, Ogba, Olowora, etc have more safe places. And if there is traffic to drive to safe places, enter any bank, eatery, find seat, queue up and enjoy AC while looking for another trip ![]() DONT PICK UP at airport for any reason. Only drop off and zoom off to Ajao estate. If Jesus stops you to pick Him up, tell Him to come to designated car park. ![]() If you have butter face and cool person, you go need Feli001 , small, chinchini touch of agbero vibes and words (not really necessary).Lately, interms of earnings, saturday and sunday is overatted, but they are good days to build confidence. Lastly, have exiting plans, either long, medium or short, plan na plan. I wish you best of God. |

let me add small capetownboyz Avoid long pickups. esp on Uber (most riders are impatient and will cancel) Ask rider for directions if unsure (but be careful) Experience is a good teacher, esp with positioning & how you start ur day SHOOPSYN: |

Hello copilot, been awhile. I need your advice, I drive a Corolla my gear box is giving me issues, I have been giving the option to either rrepair or buy. a tokunboh. My fear is buying a reworked gearbox. My Kazeem who worked on my engine in 2004 when I replaced the crankshaft, has vouched for a reliable gear master The problem with the gear is that when parked overnight and I want to go out in the morning it will not reverse. Once in motion the car will always reverse. The gear master assured me he can do the servicing and repair. Please Should I buy a tokunboh gearbox or repair my current gear box... |

MoonlightDrive: MoonlightDrive: MoonlightDrive:You can repair that’s if the gearbox has never been repaired, it’s a five pin gearbox, easy to repair. Shouldn’t exceed 70 to 100k max, but have it in mind you may need to overhaul the gear after a year or two, depending on usage. |

Can someone give me a logical explanation to why cars that are placed on basic is more expensive than other categories and even comfort.

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Kumuyiii(m): 2:57pm On Jan 28 |
dru23:This is VERY WRONG oil type for anybody driving frequently and HORRIBLE for anybody doing ehailing. 0w 20 is almost water when hot.... If ur car ain't brand new, driving in nigeria with 0w 20 is you kissing ur engine goodbye quickly.... Expensive doesn't always mean better. Anybody doing uber should be using 5w-40 to better protect ur engine. Anything ending with 20 is a no no. Anything starting with 20w and above, no no. |

Shimmaa:The basic is 27 minutes away, so it's route compensated ride. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Shimmaa: 4:38pm On Jan 28 |
ksmart027:And the comfort that is 20mins away, why is it way cheaper compared to basic that has lower model cars. |
