Kumuyiii:Baba time and time I try to give you guys games. But very unfortunate most people are just plain uneducated....... Keep in mind people do Uber in the USA too. Regardless of weather conditions. Now 0w20 is a multi grade oil . It is formulated for extreme cold temperatures and extreme heat. Plz don't say Nigerian weather this and that.. What matters is the internal temperature of your engine how the oil handle in hot temperature and cold.. Now if you are worried about 0w20 too thin u can use 0w30 or 0w40 for more protection... Baba also na 10w40 you supposed to dey used for older engines especially older cars . High mileage especially baba .. I bring them based on request... This is what makes Mobil 1 great and why you see alot of fake. People don't do fake products or designer if they are not popular or don't have status symbol... Baba have invested in Uber at early stage. Have had over 10 cars from 2007 to 2008 Elantra to 2003 to 2005 Honda Civic..... Na e hailing got me into this Mobil 1 USA business.. Baba I dey tell you wetin dey my mind. No fear.

Kumuyiii:If you really want to protect your engine Mobil 1 10w40 high mileage is what you are supposed to be using. 10w40 engine oil are designed for older vehicles in mind... This is a Fact We have cars in the USA on e hailing platform that uses 0w20 . Plz don't tell me Yankee weather is different from Nigeria weather..... When you buy quality engine oil u don't have to worry.. U can also use 0w30 instead of 0w20. At the end of the day baba Mobil 1 10w40 or well known brand will be a perfect choice. High mileage specifically .. 10w40 Full synthetic not semi synthetic Let's us be guided.. If these oil matter spill for debate. I will win the debate. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Kumuyiii(m): 6:58pm On Jan 28 |
dru23:10w 40 is solid as well... But 0w 20 is too thin bro, the viscosity is too low for the drag ehailing takes on a car... And yes, weather matters... 0w 20 is usually for colder climes... So 20 is sufficient viscosity for the engine....ow 20 is NEVER for extreme HEAT, show me where mobil advertised that and I'll rest... And who told you everyone in yankee uses 0w 20? B4 manufacturer go write oil type for ur car, he know the region wey de car dey go... You NO FIT SEE, any gcc/africa designated car with 0w 20 on oil cap, if you see am 50usd for u....why do you think? Why do you think 0w 20 is mostly for European cars? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Kumuyiii(m): 7:01pm On Jan 28 |
dru23:Lol ure confused... Stand one place bros, why are you changing to 10w 30/40 now? Shebi you wan kpai put say na 0w 20 be the best for all scenario.? Lol no go warm eba. And when it comes to big man oil and overall best, it's Liquimoly (good German stuff)... Castrol(original) is even better than mobil 1... Amsoil, redline..but Overall, liquimoly..... That's the BIG man oil, not mobil1... Mobil 1 extended performance, is good, real good ... But not the top guy as ure makin it out to be. Relax And, and don't let me hear you say uneducated here again, you don't smell my iq on a bad day. Cheers mate. |

Vela01:Lol....... It is the internal operating temperature of your car is what matters the most, regardless if you dey Yankee , Dubai, Nigeria, etc how well does the oil handles in extreme hot temperature. Can the oil protect and not fade out In cold weather temperature would the oil freeze at that moment. This is why you told to folliw owners manual. So that in Cold temperatures the oil will flow easily to the moving parts of engine at start up , This is what you call Multi Grade oil .. Another example Hilux truck plenty for all these hot region like Dubai, Saudi, Emirates etc . USA does not have hilux truck at all. It is not sold in the USA. USA has the strictest emissions law .... So below is the oil vicosity for example of a 2025 Hilux.. If your eye no dey pain you and you can read . It mentioned even 0w20 or 0w30 and 5w30........ This are multi grade engine oil.. This is the importance of buying quality engine oil, a multi grade engine oil..... Keep in mind I was an Uber investor.. This is how I got into the engine oil business. I did research on why cars kept getting engine knocked and sludge.. No be for here, you go jogodo Say tonight, you go dey know, know, know O fe pa mi with nonsense My mouth no good at all ![]() Somebody should take my phone away We had a customer from tiktok. A satisfied customer. Oshey, oshey, oh Baba, no long talk, oshey, oshey, yeah

Vela01:I will dismantle your points one by one. The internal temperature of your car is what really matters. How does your engine oil holds up in extreme hot temperature and cold temperatures.. Now places like Arizona,Texas, Florida, Louisiana etc Deep south like new Orleans,North Carolina, just to name of a few have all year weather like Nigeria . Your chatgbt mentioned traffic, sand all types of nonsense... In terms of traffic, that falls under extreme conditions heat that engine oil should able to operate Your engine air filter is responsible for making sure dirt, sand and other particles don't enter the engine. This is why it is important to always check your engine air filter... I will use my car has an example.. My car has two engine air filters. One of them is dirty and the other is ok. I will have to change them. If na dirt dey worry you or sand unless you dey drive inside sand I don't know You make me seems like u dey drive inside Sahra Desert dey way u mentioned say naija dey dusty etc .. Your engine air filters is responsible for keeping engine free from dirt and particles... Unless this is it is important to use coolant in your engine. The coolant comes into play especially when your car is stuck in traffic.. The coolant helps regulate the cooling system in your car better than water. Water kills your engine more especially in traffic. It does not have the addictives to help regulate your cooling system...., Focus focus focus Me I no dey follow u argue again I need to focus on my paper Focus focus I go see you later Once sense enter

So Ehailing drivers are now being targeted by scammers. I got a request around Wuse, the rider sent me a message that he wanted me to pickup 5 bottles of Hennessy from the supposed manager of the village chief restaurant and bar. He also asked that I help him give the manager 5k and that he would refund me the 5k plus the 3,500 for the trip=12,000 (I don’t know the maths that he did that he used to arrive at 12k, he was probably trying to prey on my greed) He forwarded me the “managers” number and I called him when I got there. When I mentioned coming to collect the drinks for the “Army man” that booked me, he acknowledged and said he wasn’t on ground but that he will call his staff to bring the drinks for me. He now brought up the 5k that the “army man” was supposed to give him, I told him that I was aware and that I was going to transfer the money for him. He told me to send him a message on WhatsApp so he could forward his account number, I have our conversation attached below.

capetownboyz:@the bold of your last statement - this is exactly what I like to read from new drivers. You need the on-field experience, cos that's what will definitely build you up. Not the questions upon questions wey I dey see from aspiratants. ![]() Though, the question stuff is necessary, but too much question is not what is required, as long as you sabi drive, you'll learn the hustle on field. Now, to your payment issue - if you had already linked your bank account with your Uber profile, wait till tomorrow and work again, the app will bring the option for you to make their payment. I just hope you already have linked your bank account with the app. Lastly, what do you mean by "... you already received payment offline" in the first bold statement? Much respect, boss. |

capetownboyz:First things first, are you owing Uber? Did you do any card trips or all were cash? Check your wallet balance to know your status. If it's in the negative, means you're owing them.
