When it comes to road infrastructure there's no comparison. APC stands tall.
God will Bless Tinubu - On These Massive Infrastructures Developments - ROADS🛣️, going on in All the Regions.
- God will Bless Eng UMAHI and his Men At Works 24/7 - For Monitoring the qualities of these Projects.
One Party - Former PDP - Was There for 16- yrs, without Construction 🚧 of a Road, for •Example - Lagos- Ibadan Express Road,
• East ➡️ West ⬅️ Road,etc.
•Benin- Ore - Ijebu Ode Road Was Awarded By Mr Anenin- Mr Fix it,but All Money -gone the Drain!
-Yet Money 🤑 Budgeted For those Projects For 16- yrs have gone to Individual Pockets.
Very Shameful!

Where does All Promises Cancelled, APC stand when it comes to widespread prosperity, low unemployment, low inflation, low insecurity, low corruption etc?

Do the progreThieves stand anywhere nearly as tall as their PDP deregulation and privatisation opponents huh

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

Is making Tinubu president, the deliverance that you gave him for hating our country to the point that good news about ending insecurity made him sick?

Truly, what a man sows is what he reaps.

EkoIle1:
It is now abundantly clear that President Jonathan has finally bared his fangs confirming what was widely speculated. By declaring a state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, he has intimidated and emasculated the governors of these States. We are witnessing a dangerous trend in the art of governance and a deliberate ploy to subvert constitutional democracy.

The body language of the Jonathan administration leads any keen watcher of events with unmistakable conclusion of the existence of a surreptitious but barely disguised intention to muzzle the elected governments of these states for what is clearly a display of unpardonable mediocrity and diabolic partisanship geared towards 2015.

Borno and Yobe states have been literally under armies of occupation with the attendant excruciating hardship experienced daily by the indigenes and residents of these areas. This government now wants to use the excuse of the security challenges faced by the Governors to remove them from the states considered hostile to the 2015 PDP/Jonathan project.

Let me be quick to say that this administration will be setting in motion a chain of events the end of which nobody can predict. Experience has shown clearly that actions, such as this one under consideration, often give root to radical ideologies and extremist tendencies, a direct opposite of the intended outcome of unwarranted and unintelligent meddlesomeness. The present scenario playing out in the country reminds one of the classical case of a mediocre craftsman who continually blames the tools of his trade for his serial failure but refuses to look at his pitiable state with a view to adjusting.

It has become crystal clear, even to the most incurable optimist, that the country is adrift. That the ship of the Nigerian state is rudderless is clearly evident in the consistent and continual attacks ferociously executed by elements often referred to as the insurgents in some northern states of the federation, particularly Borno and Yobe states respectively.

Indeed, no part of the country is immune from the virulent but easy attacks, veritable indices of a failing state. Unfortunately, the tenuous and uncoordinated approach adopted by this government betrays a grossly incompetent disposition which stands at variance with current realities in the country, nay the international community where acts of terrorism are engaged and contained.

Lie from pit of hell, I am a trucker and ply the road regularly, I can attest to minimal work going on from okene to prison junction, from obajana junction to okene is standstill. Then their is little progress from irua to ekpoma. Let them expedite action on that road because the raining season is fast approaching.
That's how they use pictures of few sections and tell lies. I believe if they give enough money to the contractors we'd see progress

Any sane president will retain him. You don't change all the bolts and nuts in your car at once because one of them is faulty. The president should go while the performers in his cabinet should be retained - Umahi and Ojo only.

It is extremely bad, very bad and that is why I hardly come to nairaland now except my attention is drawn by my friends. I suspected they bought shares and pump money to control what happens here. The worst thing is that they suppressed intellect and banned privilege information. They allowed insults and blackmailing and assaulting of the President and key people from South West region but immediately you provide a response their dictionary automatically change it , they called your response aggressive.

Another worst scenario is for one or two of their moderators to tackle you and when it becomes obvious they have no information but just making fool of themselves, they ban you and continue making reply to your comments. Observers will expect reply from you to their response not knowing you were banned for them to be making responses unanswered. They can also delete your comments while retaining the foul topic and assault responses in support of the foul topic. The good thing is that this is known in some government quarters.

"The road project is divided into four sections, with three sections running through Edo State. Section II runs from Okene to Auchi and is 63.70 kilometres long.
Section III stretches from Auchi to Ehor, covering 54.224 kilometres, while Section IV extends from Ehor to Benin for 67.9 kilometres. The first section, from Obajana Junction to Ajaokuta Junction, is currently being constructed by CGC Nigeria Ltd., who also handles Section II.
BUA Construction Nigeria Ltd. Is building Section III, and CBC Nigeria Ltd is also constructing Section IV"

You have done well by showing the status of the project. But, You will do better if you can show the same on the other phases.

Moreover, if the government really want to finish the contract within the tenure (4yrs) they would have given the contract to different companies. From your write up CGC is handling 3 out of 4 Sections. show the Status of section II (Okene to Auchi) and Section III (Auchi to Ehor) including Section IV

NUT commends Oyo over recruitment of 19,500 teachers
December 6, 2024

The Nigeria Union of Teachers, Oyo State, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde-led government for recruiting 19,500 teachers in five years.

The union, in a statement signed by the NUT Chairman, Oladimeji Raji and the Secretary, Salami Olukayode, noted that the appointment of 5,000 teachers in his first term and 14,500 since the inception of his second term into the state primary and secondary schools was noteworthy.

The union said the ripple effects of the recruitment were that it would address the problems of inadequate manpower in the education sector and promote teaching and learning.

The statement read, “Your disposition towards turning the tide of the education system of Oyo State remains unprecedented and unmatched not only in the annals of recruitment history of our dear state in recent times but also across the entire 36 states of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory.
