india is growing yeah but decades behind china . Even apple learnt the hard way when they tried to move iphone production to indian last year , they had to stop expanding in indian because production was slow and it wasn't feasible . They are back producing in china despite all the trump tariffs. The chinese technology and skill sets is second to none even the US says they are a decade behind china when it comes to tech that's why they are trying so hard to make sure china doesn't overtake them in the AI race but i'd say it's a little too late for that.

Foxconn never left china , they tried to transfer all iphone production to india but it wasn't feasible so they sent most of the chinese workers back to china . They still make iphones in india but most of the iphone production is still in china . Also Trump told Tim cook that he doesn't want apple building iphones in india so they reduced their investments in india.
