This is positive news. That area has been seeing high traffic lately so this is welcomed. Hopefully the project won't take too long and will be given to a reputable company to execute.

I used to think he was working until my team and I took a tour of his projects. The quality is the poorest ever. I doubt his predecessors were this worse.
Some projects have been abandoned for over a year.
Some of the smart schools are an eyesore.
The only project that looks promising is the Hotel he is building. I speak from experience.

I passed this area yesterday and will cross the existing bridge again sometimes this afternoon. The work is really ongoing and the whole of Abakpa is getting a new look via the roads and gutters, culvert and road expansion works.

The old traffic jam of Abakpa is disappointing fast, we no longer fear road block inside Abakpa. But a lot of buildings were cut back to create more spaces for the road expansion.

The second Abakpa bridge is not the same as the Federal project around Abakpa junction, the one you called 82 division. This bridge is inside Abakpa proper, just before the first bust stop if you're coming from Onitsha Express end of the area.

This bridge is a state project, the single bridge existing on it was repaired by Sullivan when it fell about 12 years ago. There is a need to provide a second option, and maybe use two bridges there to ease movement as the crowds in and around Abakpa continues to grow.

Mba is doing well for Enugu people and I commend him for that..

Alex Otti in Abia state too is another hard working governor .

God has blessed Abia and Enugu with good leaders .

What's happening in Imo state?

The project is too slow. Just like he said he provide drinking water in Enugu. All na lamba

Even in the south they will use that as leverage to beg for second time
Just chill he will finish they before 8 years

Gov Mbah is currently the best governor in Nigeria, forget that noise maker in Abia state.

What's happening in Imo state?

Hope Uzodinma used to be a dummie when he ran away to Abuja due to the unknown gunmen, but I don't think there's any governor that has more ongoing projects like him.

For instance, he's currently constructing an 11-storey building and tapping Imo gas to power the entire state. Smaller projects are countless, including 3 bus terminals, over 100 community schools, 50 cottage hospitals and several federal roads.

The problem is that he will likely abandon a lot of them because he's leaving office in January 2028.

they started with substandard. But I think now they have improved. Before now they just pour weak asphalt on bad roads with bad foundations. Few weeks the asphalt begin to melt or deformed due to heat and compression from traffic and heavy duty vehicle. there are routes where heavy duty vehicle ply in enugu. Abapka to naira triangle. to artisan to express. Those road needs solid asphalt and foundations. If you drive a car around the town you will notice vibration from those newly reeconstructed roads.

The projects are even substandard. Not even half kilometer road has been built in Enugu north senatorial. None of the smart school is working except one or two used for advert
