Germany has issued a travel advisory to its citizens travelling to the United States, citing risks linked to immigration enforcement and public-order situations.

Germany’s Federal Foreign Office said on Tuesday that German citizens should be aware of demonstrations and clashes with American migration and security authorities.

The advisory is not a political statement about the U.S. but aims to give impartial information for German citizens travelling to the country at a time of increased tensions during President Donald Trump's aggressive deportation drive.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent attempted to enter Ecuador’s consulate in Minneapolis, but was turned back by an employee, prompting an official complaint to the US embassy in Quito, the country’s foreign ministry said.

The Tuesday incident came as ICE and other federal agencies continue their aggressive campaign of arresting people in Minnesota’s largest city suspected of being in the United States illegally, despite outrage over the deaths of two US citizens in the operation dubbed “Metro Surge”.

Speaking in Iowa on Tuesday at a rally billed as an address on the economy, President Trump veered near the end into a tirade in which he vilified the thousands of people arrested by ICE in Minnesota, falsely describing them as “hardened, vicious, horrible criminals.”

Raising the specter of immigrants who may “blow up our shopping centers, blow up our farms, kill people,” Mr. Trump asserted while speaking near Des Moines that “2 percent of the population causes 90 percent of the crime.” He added, “So when you start decimating that 2 percent, boom,” miming a falling gesture with one finger as he spoke.

A 41-year-old man who had been detained at a migrant jail in Newark died one day after he was arrested by federal authorities, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Jean Wilson Brutus entered ICE custody on Dec. 11, and while at Delaney Hall in Newark, he experienced a “medical emergency,” ICE said in a statement. Emergency services were called, and Brutus was transported to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead Dec. 12, according to the agency.

The video angles I have seen the ICE agents were manhandling the guy, laid him prone on the floor, then one of them took out the guy’s gun and immediately after that another agent started shooting him in the back multiple times.

That is why I was asking if better video angles had been seen to explain the incident in a way that people can understand.

ICE are officially kill and go. i am sure you know what it means for agents to try to enter an embassy.

if you have the misfortune of being arrested by them for any reason you will immediately be crimewashed as a dangerous criminal. keep in mind that immigration violation is not a dangerous crime that requires groups of masked armed men. majority of your illegal immigrants are in the us to earn a living and americans employ them because undocumented people are cheaper and off the books. texas has far more illegals , but that is a story for another day - since this is really about two things

a show for trumps base of hurting those who need to be hurt and using federal might to harass the opposition.

Would YOU go to the US knowing that you can literally be snatched off the streets and killed or deported to guatemala or south sudan without warning?

Even if the country has gone insane, they should at least pretend to be sane for the sake of the World cup that will involve football fans from different parts of the world thronging into the country.

I watched the video of ICE agent trying to enter the Ecuadorian consulate and I know for certain that those agents have really really gone rogue. They are no different from the defunct SARS that believe they can harass anyone under the guise of performing their constitutional duty.

The video shows he was part of a coordinated gang of agitators who disrupt ICE activities all over the state

He regularly injects himself into law enforcement work and unfortunately got killed in one of those incidents he has been instigating

Chances of getting hurt increases when you consistently go to antagonize law enforcement who are already edgy
