Oga say na Nato through hilter na invade the Soviet Union..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The same Nato that was formed after WW2..

Countries currently in Nato.. Poland, The US, Canada, The UK, France, all formed what was called was called the allies during WW2, These Countries fought against the Axis which included Nazi Germany.. yet one fella said it was Nato who instigated the invasion of the Soviet Union.
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The US and NATO which was not formed during WW2 decide to invade the Soviet Union through Nazi Germany and then also decide to fight the same Nazi Germany losing millions of men and material in the process. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Scorpio99:
The problem is when people create time to educate you, you and your fellows dance around accusing a person as using technicality.

Apartheid was a legitimate system of government until 1990 or 1994 ( can't remember exactly which of the two years).
Nelson Mandela and his political party (ANC) were declared terrorists because their struggle was "armed". You don't carry arms against a legitimate government and not get declared a terrorist. The Mandela struggle was in the 1980s when apartheid was still regarded as a legitimate government.
Same thing with Nmamdi Kanu, carrying arms against a legitimate government. Same thing with Boko Haram. But Herdsmen are not declared terrorists simply for reason that they are not carrying arms strictly against the government.
Your assertation is very false and deliberately misleading. First of all, you are trying to rally support and justify the existence of the apartheid white South Africa by declaring it as legitimate. Then, you are also trying to compare Mandela to Nnamdi Kanu, which is a deceitful comparison on its own.

To be clear, legitimacy can be relative. So what a group or country considers legitimate can be considered illegetimate by another.

White South Africa was a colonial settler state. In other words, whites left their own country to overthrow the leaders of South Africa (or the lands that will later become South Africa) and establish themselves as the leaders there. There is nothing legitimate about such state. The blacks in South Africa never considered it legitimate neither did many African and even non-African nations.

As for terrorist, the word is in almost all cases, a political word. In most cases, the leadership of a country will readily apply it to any person or group that they consider a threat to their existence, territory, or ability to rule.

This means the terrorist tag is applied on groups that want to overthrow the government or want to carve part of the government's territory for themselves.

But countries can also be very generous with who they call terrorists. Many countries will classify a group as a terror group to stand in solidarity with their allies or because they want certain antiterrorism laws to be applied on that group.

That said, Boko Haram, IPOB, and the ANC are considered terror groups because their ruling government considers their actions as a threat to their existence, territory, or ability to rule.

Herdsmen and bandits are not declared terrorists because they have not shown any interest in carving out their own independent state. The day they do, they will be declared terrorists. It all has to do with how much of a threat they are to the government than about legitimacy.

You go just open mouth, pour out rubbish and close it.
I ask you, what is wrong in white settling. Every tribe and nation have always been settlers. It is a norm in human history. Even whites have settled in south Africa as far back as 1652!!! Oduduwa was a settler in Ife, Fulanis are settlers in Nigeria. All these things only came to be regarded as improper post United Nations. Before then, there was nothing wrong in it.

I very well justify the existence of Apartheid in south Africa because it was the damn law. You pe ople just argue based on emotions!!! No matter how cruel a law is, it stays so until it is changed and you play by the rules until you get enough leverage or assume power to change it. My justification of apartheid of course is limited to the time it remained the law. But folks like you have zero knowledge on importance of years as long as law is concerned. For you, apartheid was and will never be legitimate. For me, apartheid was legitimate but no longer legitimate. That's the difference between me and you.

⚑Keir Starmer in China:

President Xi tells the story of blind men presented with an elephant.

One touches the leg and thinks it is a pillar; another feels the belly and thinks it is a wall. Too often this reflects how China is seen.

But I profoundly believe that broader and deeper engagement is our way of seeing the whole elephant, and therefore building a more sophisticated relationship fit for these times.

⚑Canadian separatists want to ask the US for $500 billion.

Activists of the "Alberta Prosperity Project" may ask Washington for a loan of 500 billion dollars in February, according to the Financial Times. This money is planned to be used if the province successfully holds a referendum on secession from Canada.

The article notes that the separatists are unlikely to be granted this loan. However, the February meeting of the "Alberta Prosperity Project" with Trump's representatives will be the fourth in the last year.

This is the most scary one of them all.. Imagine the sacrifice the US made on behalf of the allies during WW2, a war that wasn't going to effect her directly..as the battlefield in Europe was thousand of miles from the continental US..

the US paid the ultimate sacrifice.. go and look up the human casualties incurred by the US in Europe.. The cost and risk of moving troops and material through the Atlantic ocean while under threat from Germany uboats

Yet one fella wants to bring propaganda because he is anti US.. without the US supports the Soviet Union would have been taken over by the Nazis

⚑US hands over seized tanker to Venezuela for first time β€” Reuters

Identified as the Sophia, Panama-flagged supertanker seized earlier this month.

Sources 'did not say why tanker was returned'.
this is how things worked before

under maduro, the shadow fleet exports to tin pot refineries in china that are sanctions-proof
these tin pot refineries sell excess cargo to the chinese majors like petro china
the majors do not buy directly from venezuela

after the maduro kidnap
the us then asked the likes of trafigura to market venezuelan oil directly to chinese majors at a higher price than they got through the black market operation
the chinese majors told them to go f*ck themselves
the nerve to sell oil they obtained under duress to china

so now there is a temporary glut because china will only buy venezuelan oil from the shadow fleet
and there's no one that can rapidly absorb the glut at a moment's notice
india prefers to gorge on russian oil since its already dealing with secondary tariffs on that
europe gets reasonably priced oil from russia through india
and venezuela has to sell the oil or it'll have to start shutting down oil wells

so washington has essentially created a problem that only china can solve in the interim
because economics does not care about your social media post
they now even have to return tankers to venezuela so it can ship crude to china

all the gra gra was unnecessary
maduro was willing to cut them in on the action
but the greedy oafs b feel say dem wise

e follow for why president rodriguez don dey puff her chest
all through this month
chinese flagged vlccs have been ferrying oil from venezuela to china without hassle
dem dey wave the us navy as them dey pass πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜€
china primarily buys venezuelan oil from this fleet or any shadow fleet tanker that beats the blockade
and no shishi goes to america on this trade

china had previously accumulated several months worth of oil floating at malaysia
from venezuela and iran before the maduro crap
on top of their always expanding inland storage in china
so short term, they're good

we're essentially getting to the maduro solution
which is that the axis controls venezuelan oil
and the americans are allowed to increase their market share from the 10 or so % it was under maduro
sh*t maduro already offered

i would love to hear how they planned to force china to buy stolen oil at a higher price
i want to see the shaman that prepared the charm for them

reuters reporting china has issued an embargo on any venezuelan oil marketed by america

everyone expected that when they were hashing the plan to steal vz oil in washington
they devised a solution to "who will buy the stolen oil when there is a global oil glut"

i find it hard to believe
that their genius plan was essentially
kidnap maduro and insert themselves in between venezuela and china

like how mo**nic is that?

due to the sanctions
asia, the world's top oil consumer, does not need venezuelan oil
only china does
the rest of asia already have customers
and venezuelan oil is heavy and dirty
it's not sweet crude that even the chinese will struggle to reject

the us itself has its own buyers
canada now sells more oil to china than to the us
mexico has its own buyers
so who exactly were they planning to dislocate
in an environment where opec+ is always threatening to increase output

or did they expect europe to leave sumptuous crude from the rest of the planet to buy dirty vz oil from america
while they were threatening to seize greenland

like are these people normal?

when trump was saying he'd sell the stolen oil to china
i thought he was tripping

had no idea that was their grand plan
steal oil from china to sell to china

in the year of our lord 2026

hubris alone does not explain this

Several countries are presently attempting to avert the eruption of all-out war in our region. None of them are European.

Europe is instead busy fanning the flames.

Moreover, as the continent is certain to be massively impacted by an all-out war in our regionβ€”including the knock-on effects of surging energy pricesβ€”the EU's current posture is deeply damaging to its own interests.

Europeans deserve better than what their governments have to offer.
