The question you haven't asked is....has Soludo provided constant security for the traders?
The answer is a resounding NO!
Soludo will even tell you he doesn't control the security!
So why should a trader risk his life and business to open his shop only for some groups to inflict harm on them and their business!
There people that have been murdered due to their refusal to comply!
The governor should provide security not closure!
what is the work of Igbo traders association. Have they talk to the governor?
The main market is owned by government and am Sure the government know what I'd going on in the market. Has the traders ever com together to ask for security post at the market if there is not even one t

Unfortunately people like you are empty in the head. I reside in Anambra, a lot of us wise to rest on Mondays, I'm not a fan of Nnamdi Kalu. Some people still do there business on Monday, it's personal.

The same people ruining or sabotaging their own economy by supporting sit at home in their region will now try to invade other people's territory and start dictating how the people should run the affairs of their state. Isn't that madness? The governor wants to end sit at home but the people are in support. Tomorrow, they start pointing fingers that the reason they are backward was because they have been marginalised. Make una think.. politics isn't about emotion. Wake up and put on your thinking cap!

Soludo said okay, "werey la fi nwo werey" (use madness to cure madness) let's us together run the economy down by closing all the shops indefinitely and let Nigeria bleed grin grin grin and here they come with "we no go gree ooooo, we no go gree" grin grin grin grin grin

Videos circulating online capture multiple protests across Anambra State after Governor Soludo ordered the closure of Onitsha Main Market for one week. Angry traders flooded the streets, singing solidarity songs and chanting the name of Nnamdi Kanu.
Criminals will want to use this as an opportunity to commit crimes.

A market is closed, you guys are blocking the highway!

Nigeriansgrin

All markets in Nigeria do have security officers, even if they are vigilantes. A market like this, must have those security officials. With this closure announced by the governor, there will probably be additional security measures involving police offices

What is confusing here is why the protesters are not protesting in the market, but on the highway. This is just affecting ordinary Nigerians using that route.

Very dum.b professor that can't learn from other igbo politicians in the past that has followed this same path he is currently threading on. They will always still remind him any time he comes out in the future to contest for president that it was his brother ojukwu that fought against nigeria.

Any man that doesn't have enemies is not yet a man. Did Soludo tell you he is afraid of having enemies? What matters is who emerges victorious and Soludo has been winning right from his days at UNN to CBN to Government House Awka.

[quote author=AdolfHitlerxXx post=138298173]Soludo is the ONLY one we consider Presidential Material in East.

1. His dad wasn't offedby his Coca-Cola dealing friends.

2. He finished with a 1st Class not 3rdiey.

3. He's brave unlike the others who hide every Monday. Check well, is he really from there ?

No wonder they 8 him so much.[/quote

You people will still definitely remind him anytime he comes out to contest for president how ojukwu his brother fought against nigeria we already know how you guys roll rochas and orji kalu have done far more than what soludo is currently doing but yet they weren't rewarded with nigeria's president.
