The Trump Gold Card is like the Obama DACA program, both are just a way of the Executive branch of Government of the day saying, 'we are not going to deport you'. We will give you some type of paperwork so you can work and stay in America.

Both programs were not passed or authorized by congress, therefore they do not offer any pathway to Permanent Residency or Citizenship and they would face future challenges and can be discontinued by future President(s).

If Nicki Minaj is smart, since she still have favor with Trump, she should invest like $800k in the US and file for EB-5 visa and Trump can tells him people at USCIS to approve it with immediate effect. With her approved EB-5 visa, she is on her way to becoming a US citizen in about 5-7 years.

You see $1 million too big for anyone to invest in relocating to the US, but little did you know that Trump only modified a program that gives it to $800k over $1m investors in their economy which had been available for close to 10 years or more. The funny thing was that the previous program took years (maybe 5 or more) after the investment. Trump wanted to make it $5 million. And do you know the number of people who have paid $800k to $1m before Trump came to power? Since Trump's card is faster, more people are jumping on it cos they know that after he leaves office, it may be cancelled. And when they are already in the US, it will be hard to remove them.
