Lastly, the chart you shared shows the drop from 5500 to 5100. But you deliberately used a close up screenshot to make it appear more significant than it really is. This is a better chart showing the price of gold over the past year. You can see the dip you are making noise over (the very top tip of the graph) is very insignificant.

they walked in lockstep with the us on foreign policy
(for instance, while they agreed to effectively bar chinese evs from canada under pressure from the us, mexico literally is a top 3 destination for chinese cars)

they were essentially a territory of the us in everything but name
so they're stepping back from the brink of complete subservience to the us

they have a long way to go to re-establish strategic independence

Su 34 can launch Kinzhal hypersonic missile, there are rumours Iran has Su 34. Su and Kinzhal out range the USA jassm and jet.

Kinzhal is a carrier killer, one hit will decommission the carrier. Kinzhal range is 2,000 km.
