With all the sanctions and propaganda...

Russia still tops the top performing currency and with a wide margin!
And what is the advantage?? US was suing China for internationally devaluing their currency.
It simply means no one will want to buy from or travel to Russia!

All the above countries that have good performing currencies...are diviersifed industrial economies that export manufactured goods and services.

Yes, they also have corruption issues, specially russia. But once your economy is dependent on manufactured goods and services, you are okay.

But APC and ADC Bots don't want to hear. neither do pdp, or tinubites, or obi supporters, or atiku supporters. They all love oyel money cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
And who'd want to buy your manufactured goods if your currency is too strong?

That's where the central bank steps in and does its thing.

Leave Obi's supporters out of your mention. The reason why Obi has many followers who are non-Igbos, including myself is because he seems to have the blueprint of Nigeria's survival. This is a man with allegation free of corruption. If he has, the whole internet space and media would have been agog with APC propaganda and evil smear. You can't give what you don't have. Tinubu cannot deliver Nigeria because he doesn't have what it takes.

Obi has always emphasized on "PRODUCTION" and less government spending on frivolities. He's a very prudent and wise spender who can be trusted with our national commonwealth. Obi knows exactly where to channel his interests to to make Nigeria GREAT! Give him a chance, Nigeria will forget if there are oil Wells in the Niger Delta. I see him as an "Asian Tiger" on a prowl for a bigger catch.
Obi is an importer.
That's majorly his business.
He got the deal for NPA during Abacha regime because was one of the major importers.
All his malls are filled with imported goods.
So does it make sense that you believe such a man when he talks about production?

Does it make sense to you that you are expecting Peter to give you what he doesn't have?

Some of you children are just too gullible that's why someone as slow as Peter can spin you around while you dance to his lies....

Go and read up his interview when he was talking about how he got the job with Abacha.
All he does is import...

Close to 20 thousand sanctions on Russia yet the rouble is still bouncing higher n higher than the supposed Euro. Funny innit. Putin really had these guys figured out before the war.

1.I think you mean Norway or Norge, not Sweden

2.What else does Norway make? Heavy equipment and drilling equipment for the oil industry, green energy things, etc

3.They are the second largest oil producer in the world, and they have just six million people. That's why they have a lot of money.

Oga, and this is not me attacking any politican, even if the ECA had not been touched by the government, at best, our ECA was at 2.3 billion -3 billion dollars. Norway has something around 146 billion dollars in ECA. And again, Norway has SIX million, Nigeria has anywhere between 160-230 million people.

We cannot rely on oil alone. That is what I have been shouting on this site for years, and all I get is funny comments. We are not Norway. We need to effing diversify our economy to manufacturing or we will remain broke for life.
You are right and I am wrong lipsrsealed

Meaning what? Obviously Russia's Central bank hasn't stepped in. Bottom line, having your currency become stronger is a disadvantage if you're trying to export goods because foreign importers will go elsewhere where their dollars can exchange for more and buy more. Also, tourists won't come!

Na which category Nigeria fall into?
Naira was stable most of 2025.
It was 2023 to 2024 that it nosedived.

Better google for 'russian monetary policy' for 2025, and you will see some things.

Central banks are not for decoration. The problem is, most of what they do is very boring( that's why most of us dont pay attention when our country's central bankers are speaking, unless they say something controversial)
