gidgiddy:So why didnt they continue their sit at home, what changed? Could it be the fact that it was a constituted authority that told them to sit at home? It was rebellious and cool when IPOB ordered it but it is not cool to follow orders and abide by the law. |

danvon:If at this stage of your life, you still don’t understand Federal government complicity in these shenanigans, sponsoring unknown gun men to discredit IPOB, then sorry is your case. Are you not in Nigeria when Asari Dokubo was fingered in the sponsorship of UGM in the south east? They die the matter down as usual. The same government keep fighting terrorists in the northern part with kid gloves but when it comes to IPOB, they turn to lion king. What does that tell you? People say they want to go, you say no, they must stay back. Now, they stay back. Yet you are not happy they stay back, you keep giving yourself headache because their agitation is not meant. Na mumu Dey trust Nigeria government in this 21st century. I learn one thing so far. Anyone or organization Nigeria government especially APC government praises, be watchful but anyone they fight both tooth and nails, I’m proudly in support of that person. The media and Nigeria government will manipulate into loving people you suppose to hate, and also manipulate you to hate people you suppose to love. You can argue with me as usual because it’s easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. And this is the reality of most tribalists in Nigeria. I’m a Yoruba guy but I detest anything associated with Tinubu and APC. Tinubu never mean well for the country but his family and cronies. thomas2024:I had to dig this out for you so you get schooled on what is called double standard of the Nigeria government.

danvon:The way the traders see it is its nobody's business for anyone to tell them when to open their shops. They own or rent the shops. Its like a landlord telling you how many times in a week he wants you to sleep in a house you have paid rent for. Can you imagine a situation where you travel for a month, and your Landlord locks you out of property you have already paid for? He says you didn't sleep in the property seven days a week? Don't you have the right to sleep in property you have paid for any number of days you want? |

smileyoo:First off, Chicago is not a state, it is a city in the state of illinois. The state that recognised him was Georgia and even that recognition has been blown out of the water, and very easily too. The US never recognised Ohamdike, neither did any of it's consistuent states. Sadly, your post is riddled with falsehood and shows you up to be an illiterate. No offence. |

mrvitalis:I thank God every day and twice on weekends for not doing me the great misfortune of making me an Ibo Obidient. |
| Re: Onitsha Protests: Why The Sudden Bravery? by smileyoo: 11:58pm On Jan 29 |
aswani:it's not falshood like you termed it to be, but I know that one of the US states recently made him a citizen, at least it was in the news . you that's literate, ought to know that a city is always part of a state in any nation, except you want to argue like a dumb person . I never claim to be a professor, but am not an illiterate, because if am one, i wouldn't be able to pass a message that you can respond to. only empty drums makes the loudest noise. MNK is a political agitator not a terrorist . |

Burob:Bro leave them, these folks are hypocrites! Imagine they were once hailing the unknown gunmen, later they changed mouths again saying they are apc sponsored! News of lately from naijaconfra has been showing that most of those gunmen are also cultists from their regions using the Ipob situation to cause tension towards rivals |

Wickedtruths:All of you against sit at home can you show me one tweet of you condemning the killing of IPOB peaceful protesters before 2020 Can you? No The truth is you are not against sit at home you are against what it stands for which is Biafra |
| Re: Onitsha Protests: Why The Sudden Bravery? by Wickedtruths: 12:30am On Jan 30 |
mrvitalis:Today, cry for Biafra. On Saturday now, cry for Presidency. Everybody just dey look una dey laugh. Let me tell you. The only person who cares about the East as at today is Tinubu. I don't know what's wrong with him, but it's the truth. His boys are leading the East, so he is very much invested in their success. Otti and Mbah have been with Tinubu before they became Governors. So, outside Presidency, they are his guys. If you people like, destroy the economy of your region. |

smileyoo:A City cannot make him a Citizen, even a a State cannot make him a Citizen. A City can give him the "keys" to the city but that won't make him a citizen of the US if he is not one already. The news about him being a citizen originated ftom an Igbo History Facebook page. No reputable national news outlet in Nigeria carried it, no website in the state of Georgia carried it. Even the website of the state that gave him said citizenship are yet to carry the news No one gave him anything, stop making yourself look even worse by doubling down on what is false. |

aswani:okay, i will fact-check the news to determine if it's a fake news. but it would have been more helpful, if only you have posted the source of your own submission here. |

smileyoo:Sir, I don't have to post a source, the stuff that was done regarding that citizenship was amateurish. A few more things: Raffensperger is secretary of state so cannot honour anybody, it is only the governor of a state that can do that. The same Raffensperger was not at the so called event. The useless paper was signed as "State Capitol, Atlanta, Georgia". Athens is the capital and that houses both the governors official residence and the state legislature. There can't be a state Capitol in Atlanta. I can go on with more revelations, considering I have never stepped foot in Atlanta or Georgia to show it is a shamelessly fake award. |

Wickedtruths:You want to tell South East the most developed region in Nigeria about development? Is that not funny If you had good education in your region you would know Biafra and Igbo presidency are not mutually exclusive The call for niger Delta Republic is loud The call for oduduwa republic is lout But only Biafra agitation gives you issue You don't care about the East but are commenting in on this thread? Is that not mental illness? |

thomas2024:In December 2023 the Nigerian airforce launched a strike in Kaduna that killed over 70 people In December 2024 there was another airstrike in Sokoto In December 2025 there was another airsrike by the US in collab with Nigeria in the North Nigeria is using kids glove on IPOB thats why some people can publicly offer tacit support to terrorists, with no serious consequences. |
| Re: Onitsha Protests: Why The Sudden Bravery? by danvon(op): 6:18pm On Jan 30 |
Mbanda:because the sit at home is inherently anti Nigeria and Igbo land is in Nigeria |

danvon:Anti-nigeria you said ![]() Is Nigeria not anti-Igbo? So after treating Ndigboo like 3rd class citizens, you Nigerians still expect Igbos to love and embrace Nigeria? Why do you guys love lying to yourselves? |
| Re: Onitsha Protests: Why The Sudden Bravery? by danvon(op): 9:27am On Jan 31 |
Mbanda:Well you can vote, you have lands, you own property, Kanu was even given a fair trial. That is not standard 3rd class citizen treatment. |
