Anyone interested to have 8hrs, 12hrs, 18hs on their MT4 can try this..
Though I have those time frames on my TradingView but came across this online as someone might be interested here.
I dont know if it works on MT5 but it sure works on MT4. I can assure you, 8hrs is a killer time frame!

You are actually correct. 8 hrs timeframe is perfect for analysis because it consists of three candlesticks of one per 8 hour.

1st candle is 8 hrs, which represents the Asian session from 11pm to 7am

2nd candle is 8 hrs, which represents the London session from 7 am to 3pm

3rd candle is 8 hrs, which represents the New York session from 3pm to 11pm.

It also represents the accumulation, distribution and manipulation of volumes through the various sessions.

This is not to be used alone. Pair it with an order-based indicator so that you can spot the price setup before placing a trade.

This is only good for day and swing trading. Lower time-frames are used for scalping.

For me, 12 and 18 hrs timeframe is not too good for trading, but good for optimization of algorithms as it contains real ticks for backtesting.

Its just another time frame, based on how I trade, I prefer 8hrs to 4hrs.
It is more refined, less noise. Remember you trade it in combination with other time frames, lower and higher time frames.

Yes. Depending on your skills but better to focus on weekly basis because not everyday is market friendly.
