I’m not expecting any sensible discussion or comment from folks like you. You can’t dispute the fact so the only thing you can do is start shouting Agbado all over the place. That’s the typical obidient’s way of responding to positive news. By the way, the stats in question was provided by world of statistics, a reputable global database that is followed by over 4.9 people globally on Twitter including Elon Musk. So, if Elon Musk rely on their stats, labeling them as Agbado would be an honor.
Lol. You can continue to attempt to fish in the desert but Nigeria has moved from first largest economy in Africa to fifth largest under 3 years of this regime. We were 4th last year, if you need more context. Tinubu wrecked our economy in real terms just to get IMF validation.

You’re 100% correct. Nigeria can never grow with these kind of citizens who only take delight in negativity and bad news about their own country just because their candidate was roundly rejected by the majority
imagine it was a negative stat you will see write ups filled with mockery and caricature of the country. some times i wonder what is really wrong, even if this country split i can assure you it wont be rosy. the level of greed in the heart and mind of every nigerians now is out of this world even their candidate is after his own selfish gains

I thought Elon reacted to Nigeria's case not knowing the reaction was general. but you gats include Elon Musk so that your market will sell. leave the comfort of your laptop and keyboard enter street, enter market and give us real life statistics. I for give you food for thought today, but your data capacity is overwhelmed already.

Nigeria is now the 6th largest contributor to global GDP. This speaks volume to how far we’ve gone in rebuilding our economy for global competitiveness. Now, we can all see why Shell wants to invest $20billion in our country over the next ten years.

All these are happening and some hate filled folks will still keep lying that the economy is not improving. We must never allow them to derail this trajectory of growth and prosperity that we are experiencing. This progress must continue. Kudos to Mr. President and his team for the great job they are doing.
Peter Obi will do better.

It's so interesting and am really proud of f what the government is doing in improving Nigeria GDP. It's been a while that Nigeria could be found as the only Africa country among the first rated 10 countries of the world having a great impact on the world GDP. This statistics was done by the World Bank and not a local statistical agency in Nigeria. The government is trying and we the sensible people do appreciate all their efforts but the government should do everything possible for those great progress to also be transfer to the ordinary Citizens of this great nation. That's the only thing I am asking from the government. Let those progress gets to the grassroots, to the ordinary Citizens. Kudos to the Government in power right now.

The percentages say it all. The Asian region is the creme of the crop.

For those ignorant semi-literates and paid trolls who randomly posted deliberate disinformation online that Turkey is NOT a global economic and Military authority (while criticizing President 'Bola Tinubu's official reciprocal visit to see President Erdogan of Turkey who had earlier visited Nigeria on a state visit to see Tinubu, you can see CLEARLY now from the figures above that you are all WRONG.

AI Overview
Imagine the entire world is a gigantic classroom, and every country is a student.
At the end of the year, the teacher calculates how many new crayons (goods) and coloring books (services) the whole class made together. That total amount of new stuff is World GDP Growth.
If a country contributed 1.5% to that growth, it means:
They were helpful: Out of all the new crayons and books made in the whole class, that one student (country) made a small but noticeable part of them.
They made new things: The country produced extra stuff, which helped the whole world's pile of toys get bigger, rather than smaller.
They are an engine: They are acting as a small engine, helping the global economy move forward.
Is 1.5% good?
If the whole world grew by, say, 3%, and one country is responsible for 1.5% of that growth, it means they are doing a pretty good job. In a list of the top contributors, that amount can put a country in the top 10 (like Nigeria or Brazil in 2026), making them a key player in creating new wealth.
In short: It means the country is making new things that help make the entire world richer.

Which 6th? Going by the figures, Nigeria should be eighth even though they are mere statistics which can be chosen randomly.

Inaccurate statistics, from what is Nigeria adding the real GDP. What does Nigeria export, or is it through our constant local and international borrowing.

Ogbeni, close your mouth dia😂!

Nigeria's major contribution to the global gdp stems mostly from our human capital export, which is still down to the ingenuity of the people's spirit, and has nothing to do with the rubbish governance of your iragbiji deity.

Apart from crude and people, what is nigeria now exporting differently and in larger significant quantities than what has always been since 2009?

Country dey collapse, una still dey play alausa politics grin.
