Ongoing: Construction and Expansion of Abuja-Mararaba-Keffi Expressway By PBAT by Melezenawii(op): 9:10am On Jan 31
Serious work has commenced along the Abuja–Mararaba–Keffi corridor, reaffirming the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to rebuilding and modernising Nigeria’s critical road infrastructure. This vital route, which serves as a major link for commuters, businesses, and interstate travel, is now receiving the attention it deserves after years of strain and neglect.

This progress clearly reflects the vision and leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose Renewed Hope Agenda places infrastructure development at the heart of national growth, economic expansion, and public safety. Under his administration, road projects are no longer mere announcements but active, result-oriented interventions aimed at improving the daily lives of Nigerians.

Special commendation is extended to the Honourable Minister of Works, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, for his proactive, hands-on supervision and technical expertise. His dedication to quality, durability, and timely delivery continues to redefine road construction standards across the country, ensuring value for money and long-term impact.

The Abuja–Mararaba–Keffi project stands as a clear testament to purposeful governance, focused leadership, and a renewed commitment to national development.

Why do Agbadorians lie so effortlessly? This road is being constructed by the Nassarawa state government. Aside the 15 trillion naira coastal road, what really is the federal government doing with its own share of the allocation? You can clearly see the name of the contractor handling the project, Triacta Nigeria Ltd.

You really need to stop lying simply because you hate Mr. President. It won’t make Peter Obi or Atiku president. The Abuja-Maraba-Keffi road expansion and rehabilitation is a federal project awarded at over N70billion to China Harbour Construction company. It is being funded under the Road Infrastructure Development and Refurbishment Investment Tax Credit Scheme with NNPC paying for the project.

Stop lying, Nasarawa doesn’t have the capacity to finance such project. Simple Google search will tell you who is funding the project. Be honest for once and stop lying. Stop!

E choke! Bola choke dem with projects!
Have you noticed Obidense are no longer calling Tinubu’s projects audio? What they do now is to lie shamelessly by ascribing the projects to the deceased Buhari (the same man they said he did nothing while in office), MTN, or state governors.
Bola’s projects are like a 9-month old pregnancy, you obviously can’t deny

Your news is dated October 2nd, 2025. Only for Umahi to order the revocation of the contract on October 13. Who is fooling who? Umahi has revoked virtually all ongoing projects by the federal government citing one phantom excuse or the other. We know he wants to re-award them to cronies in order to get kickbacks.

So, how’s the project a state project when Umahi is the one revoking and reassigning the project? You lied that this is Gov. Sule’s project and you’re supporting your claim with a screenshot showing FG revoking the contract for the road. So tell us, how come FG is revoking a state project?

Have some smh and admit you lied. You said honesty is the best policy, display that honesty now and apologize for lying.

Btw, China Habour is still handing the project and they have a deadline of February ending to deliver.

Continue to clutch on straws. Would it be the first time a state government will be constructing a federal road. I simply told you with evidence that the road is being constructed by the Nassarawa state government, contrary to the snake oil propaganda the Op is trying to push. That road was awarded by Buhari to China Harbour with substantial stretches completed during his tenure. Umahi simply came onboard and revoked the contract without any concrete reason but to get kickbacks. How could a road transversing multiple states be a state road?

Just one post and you’re contradicting yourself. This is what happens when someone is lying. Be a man and stop lying on a faceless forum. Nobody will kill you if you apologize for lying. It is a FG project and China Habour is back to site after a disagreement with the ministry of works over scope and design. NNPC is paying for the project under the Road investment credit scheme and the deadline for completion is February, 2026. Nasarawa state government has absolutely nothing to do with the project. It’s left to you to stop lying. I’m done with your lying ass.

Bro, why you dey disturb yourself ontop Bitter people na?.

Do you think any sensible person will argue that FG is in charge of Abuja-Keffi-Nassarawa road project?. Umahi and the special adviser to the President on community projects in NW zone visited the projects last week , along with the inspection of ongoing Zaria-Gusau-Sokoto road.

Have you not noticed that anytime there's a report on any federal road construction, Bitter people have a way of taking the credit away from the president and they give the credit to either MTN or state Government or Buhari or GEJ grin

And that's the type of people you dey argue with?, you think they're normal? grin

Those liars know what they are doing. What they want is the freedom to lie unchallenged and mislead as many people as possible. We must not allow them to get away with that. They will eventually run away once someone stand up to them consistently with the truth.

@AMINDA!!! Lie, lies, liess will finally end you one day. I don't know where you got your news from that the project is attending to by Gov. Sule?
I lives in the area the project is located.
The project in question has been awarded by federal govt since 16 years ago which some state men sit on it.
Works minister was here(precisely, Marara junction) some weeks ago.
Gov. Sule himself was here last December at sharp corner addressing people not to fight or disturb the contractors when the project kick start. Gov made mention that the project fund is ₦39 billion in which state government is part of co-funding in the tune of ₦19billion while the federal.government was said to pay ₦20 billion.
The state ₦19billion involved will later refund back to them by federal govt, because the project is a federal project.
Because of their hate for Tinubu. One will just wake up and tell people that it was governor Sule that is doing the project...Tinubu will still teach una lesson una need to learn from.

They never see anything yet, make dem wait till the President start going around to commission the projects by himself. When the President begin commissioning left right and center, we shall see the next lies they will tell themselves.

That’s very good to hear.. terrible to see such an important road in bad shape for years.. months back my trip from Abuja via mararaba to Keffi and back was so terrible.

Kudos to the FG on attending to this road. But why Nassarawa govt haven’t done this road for years really amazed me.

Since you are not informed of the good news currently happening to Nigeria and it roads. Below are the ongoing roads project by the administration of our father Rev., Imam, Pastor, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway

A flagship federal project intended to link Lagos in the southwest with Calabar in the southeast, passing through multiple states (Ogun, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River).
Ongoing works:
• Lagos State: hundreds of kilometres under construction
• Cross River, Akwa Ibom and other states: sections underway
Total ongoing works account for over 1,200 km when measured in lane equivalents.

🚧 2. Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway

Extends from Sokoto in the northwest to Badagry on the Lagos border, intended to improve north–south connectivity.
Work status: Much of the route is under construction in segments (e.g., Kebbi, Sokoto).

🚧 3. Trans-Sahara Road

A federal corridor crossing multiple states (Cross River → Ebonyi → Benue → Kogi → Nasarawa → FCT).
Work ongoing: Sections of the Trans-Sahara route are being upgraded or dualized.

🚧 4. Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe Road

Another long federal corridor project.
Status: Under redesign/upgrade with plans for rigid pavement for durability.

🚧 5. Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano Road

Major north–central/northwest federal highway being dualized to improve movement between the capital region and northern cities.

🚧 6. BUA Road Projects (Tax Credit Scheme)

Under the Road Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme, BUA Group is involved in constructing over 500 km of federal roads, including roads like Lekki Deep Sea Port access and Kano–Kongollam Road (completion expected by 2026).

🚧 7. Federal Roads with Funding Approvals (FEC)

In 2025, the Federal Executive Council approved over N1 trillion for a set of highway projects, including:

Major segments funded

Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway Section 3 (Badagry → Ogun–Oyo border)

Ota–Idi-Iroko Road and flyover upgrades (Ogun State corridor)

Ijebu-Igbo–Etapa–Owoyen Road

Lagos–Ibadan Expressway Phase II (Section II)

Ilorin–Omu Aran–Egba Road Phase I
Plus other rehabilitations and widening works.

🚧 8. Lokoja–Benin Road Rehabilitation

Sections of this key federal trade route were approved for rehabilitation and concrete pavement upgrades at FEC.

🚧 9. Benin–Ore Subsections & Other Federal Routes

While not exhaustive, FEC approvals and ministry releases have highlighted contracts for sections of national roads such as Federal corridors in northern and southern regions.

🚧 10. FCT and Satellite Town Roads

Although managed by the Federal Capital Territory under the ministry’s supervision, the federal government also funded road construction in the FCT and its satellite towns — about 150 km of new/existing federal links completed from 2024–2025.

🛣️ Other Ongoing Federal-Scale Road Works

According to the Federal Ministry of Works, beyond the headline corridors above, numerous federal works include:

Sokoto → Zamfara → Katsina → Kaduna corridor (~275 km dualization)

Bama and Dikwa roads (~100 km)

Borno Ring Road (~110 km)

Lokoja–Okene dualization (~86 km)

Benue to 9th Mile dual carriageway (~250 km)

Zaria–Hunkuyi (~156 km)

Kano Northern Bypass (~49 km)

Carter/Eko/Third Mainland bridges (upgrades reported in conjunction with federal transport planning)

Enugu–Onitsha, Enugu–Abakaliki federal road upgrades

East-West Road Section 2

Eleme–Onne corridor improvements (ports access)

📊 Summary

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has emphasized federal roads as part of its Renewed Hope infrastructure agenda, with major long-distance highways (coastal and north–south), corridor networks, city-region expressways, and trade route rehabilitation across the six geopolitical zones.

If you’d like, I can organize this list into a state-by-state breakdown of federal road projects so you can see which ones affect each part of Nigeria. Would you like that?

Jesus Christ! A Nasarawa state government project? A project governor A.A Sule initiated and conceived right in his office after he had been delayed countless times on that road.

Haba! Tinubu's rats must you lie about everything? If it is Tinubu project, why was Dave Umahi, the federal minister of works not there at the ground breaking? Liars! They have nothing so they are claiming other people's projects for their failure of a president.

Look at how APC foot soldiers are conflicting the road resurfacing project from Nyanya to Keffi with the road expansion project governor Sule embarked on. The federal government project on that road is merely resurfacing of the road itself and leveling up the shoulders with concrete. This is an entirely different project from the one the state government gave to Triacta Nigeria Ltd which is expanding the road from the Muhammadu Buhari International market up to Mopol junction Nyanya. The state government project will have an overpass and an underpass. That is not a federal government project by any means whatsoever.
