Check your email for generated remita invoice. Go to remita.net and make payment using the remita number. After the payment, you can CONTINUE HANGING APPLICATION

Thanks for the response

I've checked my invoice and spam but I didn't see any remita invoice there. Or am I supposed to pay directly from remita first?

You are not meant to pay from the remita first. You are supposed to get the invoice that you will use to make payment

Dear All, Good evening.
So, a semester before last semester I concluded my program at NOUN.
When results were released, I saw some 200 level courses as outstanding courses. I was surprised because I started from 300 level with my HND. So, I contacted someone working in the school and she told me she want to reach out to her counselor and she later told me to ignore as instructed by the counselor since I have cleared Gst107 (now NOU107) and GST302.
That every other 200 level courses won't affect my graduation because I started from 300 level.
Few days later a course mate who was also in my shoes called me that she has reach out to another person in the study center and the person said she must write them. Or do all the 200 level GSTs, that she has already registered.

So, I raised a ticket via support and I was told that for me to graduate, I must complete a credit load of 90 units and cleared all relevant courses outstanding. Because of this I decided to take 5 courses with the only GST outstanding. Note, the GST is 200 level GST.
As last semester results were released, I cleared them all with 2A and 3B, pushing my credit units to 92 instead of 90 as a benchmark.
To my greatest surprise, the just released graduation list has exclude me.

I raised a ticket again, I was told there will be another graduation list but I must ensure I addressed my outstanding courses. I'm disappointed, they should have tell me to start from 200 level instead of all this drama.

Did they tell you to address the 200L outstanding courses? From my personal experience, some of the person who respond to enquiries often make mistakes and some it is because of some often conflicting info. For instance, you see that GST105 and GST207 ane mututally exclusive only to see your registrable courses that you have both of them. We have also heard about how ALL GST courses in 100L are compulsory for 200L DE students even when info on the website specifically says only GST107 is compulsory for 200L DE.

From my experience, if you have no outstanding 200L course course, you will graduate. Just watch and see. The fact that your name didn't come out before doesn't mean you haven't cleared all your courses. With the info you have provided, I can confidently say you are done unless your level of entry in their school database is not 300 but 200.

I have 5 outstanding 200l courses in my portal. I cleared all the GSTs and I started from 300l. Why adding 200l courses to someone who started from 300l with HND is what I don't understand.

Thank you for your response.

Check your result on the support portal. What is your entry level showing?
Secondly, from experience even 200L DE students get to see all 100L courses in their portal. It has always been like that.

Thank you. Before now, my entry level has been showing 300l. But as at today, it's showing just direct entry

Good morning all,

Please I’d like to find out something the possibility of changing one’s study center during the course of one program with NOUN. If peradventure I get transferred out of my current location, can I change my current Study center to another in my location?

And if I can, what’s the window period for doing so?

Is it that the 200l entry students must write all the outstanding 100l courses before they can be allow to graduate?

I have explained this before. If 200L students DE students are required to write all outstanding 100L, what then is the difference between 100L student and 200L student?
As a 300L DE student, what you must do is NOU107/GST107. That is the only lower level course you must do before you graduate.
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Abdul4trust1(m): 7:26pm On Feb 10
Thank you but this is not my case at the moment. I have written all the courses I'm supposed to write(all the GSTs), I have even wrote about 4 more 200l courses not GSTs. NOU107, GST302, GST 202 DES303 all written by me. The only 200l courses they said I must write to graduate are all 200l Eco course. They also said I must met 91 credit units and I now have 92 CU. I'm confused because I don't know what to do again as the person who responds to the tickets insist I must write the 200l courses

I have no idea, but I suspect this month or next. They'll want to do it early so that they can release convocation list for PGD students ASAP.
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by daddyseun: 9:58am On Feb 15
It appears NOUN system is designed to frustrate students progress. I realized as a direct entry student that I need to register all the 100L GST courses. Having done NOU107 in the previous semester. I have not been able to register GST101 and GST102 as they are not appearing on the registration section.

I have sent countless mails but back and forth engagement by the backend is not helping.

It is disappointing for an institution that prides itself with digital based learning can not resolve students complaints despite several communications.
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by LaPremiereFemme: 8:35pm On Feb 15
Good evening everyone.

Please, I'm having issues registering my courses for almost two weeks now.
The portal doesn't allow me to register all my registrable courses for this semester at once.

It kept saying saying I should register the core course first before the only elective I have there.
I finally succeeded in registering the core ones today yet the portal won't all me register the remaining one which is elective.

Is this problem from NOUN's end? Did anyone encounter the same challenge? What should I do?

Nb* the option of adding/removing courses is no longer on the portal.
